If you like Belichick so much, and like his coaching style so much then go root for the Patriots :hehehe:.

Well Belichick got outcoached in the Super Bowl twice by Tom Coughlin, and by Doug Pederson a couple of years ago.

Interesting that, if not for one of these blown calls, Tomlin would have had a 2 game winning streak vs. Bellechick. Just sayin... ;)

To be clear, I’m not saying that I think Tomlin is great. I actually wouldn’t mind moving on from him if we can find a highly qualified candidate. However there’s a tendency among a large contingent of fans to treat him like he’s a member of ISIS.

Would you be ok with using the same qualifications that MT had for the next HC candidates?

Based on your recommendation, there shouldn't be any problems finding several replacement candidates that match MT's qualification prior to his becoming our HC. .

Did Sean McVeigh have more qualifications than Tomlin? How about Kliff Kingsbury? Meanwhile some guys with stellar resumes earned through years of success as position coaches and coordinators have struggled as head coaches. Gase. Joseph. Fangio (so far). I’m sure I can come up with plenty of others. The key is to find the right guy for the team’s circumstances at the time of the hiring. These days the resume may not need to be very deep in terms of NFL head coaching or coordinator experience. Any team hiring a head coach these days needs to dig really deep beneath the resume. I realize that’s always been the case, but it seems like the sure things are less sure now than ever before.

I can't speak for anyone else but for me, it's because he has done so little with so much.

Belichick fanboy, he didn't look so great last night against the Ravens. And the Patriots had the #1 defense going into the game and got exposed.

Tomlin Boy, I know, I was just kidding. How could you fault Tomlin and company when they have owned Belichick and company like they have?

But I'm sure that now that the Patriots lost to the Ravens last night, that will wipe out all that silly talk about the Belichick and company ever having been any good in the first place.

At least they lost their 'gods of the AFC' pedestal. Loved watching them grovel at the podiums last night.
