Trade for Bell

    My wife went through chemo a few years ago. That was pretty tough. She still takes some kind of pill that causes her all kinds of problems.

    That sucks, but she made it through the chemo! That's a bonus! Hate to hijack this thread but, check out the book Nu-Oncology

    Hey santeesteel.

    I hope all is well with you and that you are in a better place now in your life. Yes, I am no expert at all on this topic. I would think that Connor does have youth on his side. However, even given that, I would think that the treatment that he received took a toll on his body (and even his mind). Now, if it did, hopefully it is only a temporary thing. Adversity really knows how to humble a person. Not that I am saying anything bad about Connor. He seems like a level-headed guy who appreciates where he is at in his life. Maybe others (such as B and B) could take a lesson or two from him. Maybe we all could. STEELWINDS

    My wife is a 7 year survivor. We have something to be thankful for.

    Unless of course your wife owes you $500 like your brother. :smiley1:

    Don’t buy the lie that the team tried to trade for him. There’s no way they could have made it work under the cap, so it didn’t happen.

    Bell has got to be a little pissed he went to the Jets. He is sucking big time there and so is his team. I think if Bell was still a Steeler his numbers would be a hell of a lot better.

    Where did you read that?

    Head coach Mike Tomlin was asked after the game about the reports and if the team indeed inquired about trading for Bell. “Not to my knowledge, no”, was his only comment on that topic.
