The games in the discussion right now aren't playoff games.

None of this is really relevant to this year's matchup with the Cardinals. The Steelers haven't played them in Arizona since 2011 and they won that game. When the Steelers play the Cardinals this year, Pittsburgh will dress one player who competed in that game, Ramon Foster. The Cardinals still have Larry Fitzgerald. They also have a different coaching staff. How is that relevant to what will happen this year?

You can bend these statistics all sorts of ways. For example, the Steelers haven't lost to the Cardinals in Arizona since Sept. 30, 2007. They are undefeated there for 12 years! Maybe I will be more concerned if Kurt Warner starts at quarterback for them, as he did that day. I wonder if Steve Breaston returned to Pittsburgh after his playing career was over. He returned a punt for a touchdown that day.

Rudolph has played well on the west coast as well as the defense.

I'm sure you said the same thing about the Steelers playing the Chargers on the West Coast.

So we are going into this game with two rbs. Nix questionable again. Samuels off of a knee injury. Shouldn't we make a move with someone?

The real killer is that run defense is the Colts' biggest weakness and the Steelers may not be in a position to take advantage.

Switzer is one of our emergency RB's. Is it legal to fair catch a hand-off?

This lack of running game is getting beyond ridiculous.
Look what Arizona did last night with a RB they picked up days ago.
    That's Coaching.

Gotta roll with Samuels, Trey Edmunds and wounded Conner.

This will be interesting. So many variables. Pass protect. Short passing game that they love with mason. Samuels knee. Nix hurt again. 72 will get a lot of cheers. Switzer running jet sweeps straight out of bounds. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my.

Defense will have to hold them to 20. I think it comes down to turnovers, will need at least one capitalized on.

The Colts don't turn the ball over but their defense doesn't force any either. They have committed 7 turnovers and they have forced 7 turnovers. They play a conservative game that leads to low scoring close football game.
