What jacked that average up was the 25 yard cushion the Dolphins gave him on an 8 man blitz on 3rd and 20.

You don't think any of the other players on that list were left wide open or completely uncovered, a time or two?

I'm sure some of them were. I was just taking a shot at the Miami defense for that terrible play call. It certainly wasn't anything against Johnson who is off to an outstanding start in his career.

So far in 14 quarters with Mason, DJ has posted posted 16-222-3. That projects to a 73-1,015-13.7 pace over a full season.

I'd say the below tweet is going to be accurate.

Johnson has managed to produce even with the issues at quarterback. He has clearly moved ahead of Washington. There always seems to be an excuse, but precious little production.

I didn’t like the pick at all, but it’s starting to look like I’ll be feasting on a heaping plate of delicious crow. But, let’s see how he does over the course of a season before I grab my fork.

I'll be honest I had never heard of him so I was skeptical of the pick but I see now the potential he has to be a good receiver for years to come.

I was surprised they picked him in the third round, but the Steelers know how to draft receivers, I remember they had him in for a predraft visit. Tampa Bay was looking to draft him, if the Steelers didn't take him in the third round. Arians called Steelers WR Darryl Drake to get on him for the Steelers taking Johnson before them.

I didn't buy that story then and I still don't buy it now, but Johnson has been impressive for a rookie receiver so far.

No doubt. It’s Juju 1, Johnson 2 based on what we have seen. I’d like to see stats on JW’s performances. It seems like he is not targeted very often tbh, perhaps he is not getting open. It’s a pity because I think the ability is there.
