When did I say they didn't?

They are and we had to use gimmicks to beat the Bengals. Dolphins have been a lot better since Fitz has stepped in. Luckily, we've had his number in his career but it could also mean he's due for one good one. It doesn't help I think the Dolphins will actually try to win if they can instead of what they pulled against the Skins.

I enjoyed are last "home game" in LA. Never really worried until the on side kick which if we didn't recover, no doubt in my mind the Chargers would have tied up the game. I feel this game will be just as enjoyable to watch.

Just can't wait to see how they use Mason. I hope if we get a decent lead they let him unleash a few downfield a la Big Ben.

And until it ain't I'm still calling on the spirit of the 1-4 Steelers from 1976. 1-4 to 10-4.

I'm of the opinion the season is already over, Pats are gonna win it all bla bla bla. So win, lose it doesn't much matter.

The Steelers haven’t lost a home Monday night football game in over 28 years since October of 1991. That streak isn’t going to be snapped by this pathetic Dolphins team. The Steelers night be a bit rusty early in this game but I think once they get settled in they should be able to win this game hopefully without much drama. Monday night begins a stretch where the Steelers will play 4 games in 17 days which I’m looking forward too. It seems like it’s been forever since the Steelers have played a game. This is now 4 out of the last 5 Sunday’s that there will be no Steelers game to watch. Glad our game next week with the Colts is at 1 o clock on Sunday finally and then another Sunday game at 4:25 the following week with the Rams.

You're forgetting one big thing, this isn't the Steel Curtain defense and they aren't getting 3-4 shutouts like they did in 1976. They also don't have two 1,000 yard rushers in the backfield .

I think there a few teams in the NFC that could give the Pats a game in the Super Bowl. The Steelers aren't in the mix for the SB, but it would be nice to turn the season around and make the playoffs.

I'm confused, aren't these games fixed? How do the Dolphins have a say in the outcome

I'm just curious about 2 articles I've read about how the Steelers are trying to avoid a slow start after the bye. Really!! The team is 2-4 and MT and DD66 are talking about how to avoid a slow start after the bye on MNF.

MT: We'll be challenged to come out of the bye week and not start slow, get rolling in that regard". Or something close to that.

I wouldn't think a 2-4 team would be even close to thinking that. "Well, I guess I hope we don't start off slow"....shouldn't it be "fellas we need to get our **** together and mop the floor with this team"

If our season is done by then I will want to watch this historic matchup of two teams racing to the bottom.

Final stats for both QB's could be 8 of 27 for 53 yds 0 td 5 int's 4 lost fumbles.

It could get really ugly if it plays out that the loser gets first pick in the draft.

Well if were playing an inferior opponent it's still would be considered a trap game. And we have seen how the great motivator has gotten the team up for said inferior opponents

Steelers can never be complacent the rest of the year.
They have to have urgency each and every game the rest of year.
This should be Mike Tomlins number one priority from here on at keeping
    team ultra ready to compete.

    Hi Everyone.

Honestly, and no disrespect to anyone. That was 100% Miami's choice to part ways with Fitzpatrick. So, I do not buy into any ill-feelings about trading with us to get a #1. Too me their moves are setting them up with all kinds of draft picks for the future. It is part of a greater plan in which the Fitzpatrick move was just one of many that they are making.

I really get tired of the "Chip on the Shoulder" cliché in all sports. Maybe, in pee wee football not so much on the pro level. Even Mason Rudolph claims he has a "Chip" because he was not a first rounder. The phrase is annoying to me and is way overused. Great! You have a supposed "Chip" on your shoulder. If you need it to motivate you, Great again! Then go out and prove it and do something about it.

As the saying goes: "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far." (President Theodore Roosevelt). That is all I am saying. I am hearing it so often now in Football, Basketball, Baseball, Tiddlywinks, Hopscotch, etc. It is so overused. STEELWINDS

I'm thinking Pats - 49ers. And not just because they're both undefeated. The NFL would love this matchup, the master QB vs. the pupil all that crap. Maybe Shanahan can get his revenge for the Falcons debacle.

    Hey Wardismvp.

Ha! Good luck with that! It all starts in training camp and preseason and we all know how that usually goes every year. If we were so-called "prepared" in Week #1 last season (tie with Browns) we win the division. As I say in these situations: "Unbelievable but Typical." How come we can not be the team that is 8-0 at the half-way point? I am so sick of it. Just disgusted! STEELWINDS
