So if you guys didn't know Glenn's Mahomey went down last night after a QB sneak. Dislocated knee probably going to miss 3-5 weeks.

It was always puzzling why one of the biggest/toughest QBs in the league wasn't allowed to get us a few inches. Especially when Brady does it all the time and not a scratch.

So do you put your franchise between 300 lbs men or not?

The QB sneak is a very effective play. One guy gets hurt and the media goes off on how no QB should ever run it.

How many times has Brady run it and not had an injury?

If it's 4th and 1, I'm running the QB sneak 10 out of 10 times.

Other than Mahomes last night, I can't remember another QB getting hurt on a QB sneak.

Mahomes has also been gimpy the last few weeks. He always seems to have something going on with his lower body.

No, Steelers were not proven anything last night. Far from it. Steelers usually fail by making a RB run 10 yards to get one or throw the ball 30 yards down field. Both don't work as our 3rd down conversion percentage would attest to. Guess Ben can't throw anymore either since it might injure his elbow. The odds are about the same as a QB sneak injury.

QBs should never throw. Ben hurting his arm throwing proves this is correct.

When a play works it was a fantastic gutsy call by the Coach. When a play fails and an injury occurs it was a dumbass call by the Coach.

I think Ben had a minor injury after a QB sneak against the Redskins, a few years ago. That might be the reason the Steelers don't run it.

But that would mean Tomlin plays in his fears. So that couldn't be the case. We don't run it because of the overwhelming success we have by NOT qb sneaking. Duh.

I bet that is the last time Andy Reid runs a QB sneak with Mahomes.

That is a croc. QB sneaks should always be an option when you have a 6' 5" 250 pd
    quarterback.

I have no problem with the QB sneak. I know there are stat gods out there I am wondering how many QB sneaks have been run and I am talking 4th and 1 or less and how many injuries happen? I mean how many QB's are hurt dropping back to pass and every team still throws the ball.........just sayin

The QB sneak has been around since it's first use in 1912, 3 QBs used the sneak successfully last week alone, Bart Starr won the championship game with a qb sneak in the ice bowl against dallas in the 60s, very few injuries to QBs has ever been recorded from using it, so that play will continue to be in teams play books for the foreseeable future...........

Too hard to run the QB sneak out of the shotgun, Ben's preferred formation.
