Dan Snyder has Tomlin on his short list to become the head coach. Obviously it would have to wait until next year which a trade could be arranged. Get that 1st back and some. The ownership group would have to approve of such a trade.

Seeing this happen and cleaning house to me is the way to go.

so for those of you who don’t know, Redskins fired Gruden today. La Canfora stayed he believes that Snyder’s primary objective will be to get Mike Tomlin.

Now listen, I know a ton of people on here will be like good riddance, but I really don’t think people realize he is a top 5 coach in the league. That may say more about the state of coaches in the league but it is true.

Having said that, and being a pretty big supporter of Tomlin, but if we could get a package for him like the Raiders did for Gruden from the Bucs, I just don’t see how you turn that down. Especially since have moved a lot of draft capital in the past two years, and I still agree with the moves.

Tomlin is a Bum, Terrible Coach...Let his #nd string RB through a pass from his 12...Ran the Wildcat on 2nd and 1 instead of Just getting a damn 1st down...Left a TO in his pocket the end of the 1st half, beating his chest with those stupid sunglasses on when the game wasn't over...This is not even counting the end of the 1st half debacle...

If I didn't know better, It's like he's trying to get fired...He makes these same boneheaded mistakes week after week...year after year...He is quite terrible

If I didn't know better, It's like he wants out

I am not a Tomlin hater or support.....I support winning. I don't give a rats a$$ about non losing seasons or winning % as a HC. What have we done lately, NOTHING!!!!!!! Sorry but like @biggbunch68 says I would dive the guys to Washington myself, in a heartbeat. I would throw in a first too but we traded that away. You can't have the best WR & RB in the game a future HOF QB, a good to great oline the last 4-5 years and come up with nothing! Move on send his butt to Washington please please please:beg::beg::beg:

We'll even throw in Moncrief, Switzer, Dupree, Barron and Burns in for free! Would you pull the trigger? It would give us hope for next season and get rid of the biggest thing holding the team back.

I doubt the Steelers are getting much value for Tomlin, but it's nice to dream.

I’d also see if they’re shopping any players.

Gotta get ready for next season.

I don't know if I am all in for letting Tomlin walk.

I just want him to acknowledge his coordinators are not up to snuff .

Maybe we are entering a new Steelers era and maybe we need wholesale changes.

If Tomlin were to leave can we get Munch back as HC?

He's 59 and he's already had a shot as HC. No way the Steelers hire him.

Noll, Cowher, and Tomlin were all in their 30's when they were hired and this was their first HC gig. That's the Steeler way and I doubt they deviate from that. They want the young guy on the rise who can be the coach for 10-20 years. A Sean McVay type.

It would legit take their 1st for the Steelers to even consider. Anything less isn't worth the headache for a lot of reasons.

Just make sure it isn't the cart they were supposed to use for Mason yesterday.
