Problem is they sucked because of stupid mistakes. Throw the ball away instead of throwing up a duck that gets picked off! Tomlin or Fitchner probably don't coach it that way!

So if you’re using the “who cares” approach then why are you so upset?

Wasn't it raining as well? Dresses and looks like the 4th sub assistant equipment manager.

Mistakes is part of discipline. Who is responsible for discipline? Also, how freaking many stupid penalties can we get in one game. Seemed like we were very getting penalized constantly. Again, who is responsible for discipline?

The refs made a lot of bad and questionable calls in general. Do some of you even pay attention or are you to drunk?

I guess some people are part time observers of regular season games.

You know the answer to that as well as I do. Sometimes, defense is better.

It says the Ravens defended it extremely well, so they used it less as the game went on.

I pay attention to the flags thrown and yards penalized that impact the game? What do you do pretend it didn't happen because you disagree with he call? Not drunk but I'll have what you're having.

Well, that last one was bogus as hell. Bush has to know better on the hard count 4th and 6, not sure if that ended up in a scoring drive though.

O-line did have too many holds and a false start.

Even if you didn't see the game, how does a Steelers fan not know Smith-Schuster's fumble ended it?

The calls to bench Smith-Schuster are silly, but it wasn't just Humphrey making a great play. It was Smith-Schuster being sloppy with the ball.

That is a good point. Samuels should have been told to throw the ball away if anything goes wrong. There is no way he should have been given the choice to make a throw like that one.

Now the call there is baffling. If you’re not gonna let your QB try and play you out of bad field position, why would you try to do it with your RB/wR?!

Yeah, that's it! I'm not a Steelers fan because I sometimes have to work on a game day. I'm not a fan because I don't let my life revolve around Steeler football. I'm not a fan because I don't keep a journal of all the stats of Steelers games. I'm not a fan because I realize that there's more to life than football and former sportswriters!

No, you are right. That's not why they lost. Maybe Bradshaw was right.

Now go back and read my post and try to understand it better, because you failed miserably the first time. I didn't say you aren't fan. I'm just surprised any fan of the team wouldn't know how that game ended. It's not like I'm talking about some obscure play in the second quarter. It was a fumble that sealed the victory for the Saints. Hell, if all you did was watch the highlights later that day, you would know how it ended. I didn't need a journal to remember that.

You posted something foolish and now you are doubling down with some serious hostility. I get it. People all over this board seem quite hostile tonight.

No, I suggest YOU reread what you wrote. Just the first sentence. I didn't see the game, nor the highlights. I have a life...…. You bring out the hostility in a LOT of people.

Then why did you start a thread on this, claiming they jinxed the team because they were happy their defense got a stop .

The decision worked out perfectly. Instead of us being backed up by them kicking off (something that happened repeatedly earlier in the game) we had them backed up and stopped them. Had we gotten the ball first and scored a FG they would have known they needed at least a FG and have used all 4 downs to try to get it or a TD, thus making it a lot harder to stop them. The only way the decision would have backfired is if the Ravens scored a TD on their first drive AND we would have scored a TD on our drive had we gotten the ball first. Even a FG on our first drive means squat had the Ravens gotten a TD on their first. If JuJu hadn't fumbled we would have been at least at midfield and just needing a FG to win. You can argue that regardless of the outcome it was the wrong decision (something working out doesn't mean it was the right decision) but as it actually turned out the outcome was definitely in our favor.

This one is on you. Your hostility is unwarranted. Your suggestion that anybody who actually keeps up with the basics of the team doesn't have a life is rude. You didn't even understand my post before offering up your rancorous response.

Smith-Schuster's fumble was one of the defining plays of the season, whether you saw it live or not. I know about plays I didn't see live. I occasionally have to miss a game, too. I would get you forgetting the play, but never knowing about it at all seems odd.

I don't much care what you find odd. What I'm saying about people that keep up with stats is that, there is more to life than analyzing football plays. I, like everyone else on here that you attempt to belittle, understood your post just fine. You're the kid that sits behind me on the airplane and kicks the seat the whole flight! Annoy someone else!
