Hopefully we don't see the penny defense this week. Jackson could ruin the party if they allow him to churn out runs. Spy? They better have a spy on a consistent basis or it's going to be a long day. Devon Bush had his best game last week and I could see him as well as Barron and Fitzpatrick watching this overrated running QB.

The media could have taken notice that after 3 weeks the entire division had only 3 wins and Rats had the majority.

Needing a big win hasn't made much of a difference lately. I hope you are right.

The optimist would say look at the 3 teams we lost to. Only one loss amongst all of them combined and more proof last night the Seahags beat the Rams and we almost won against them. Throw out the first game as garbage and look at the last 3.

It is possible we are better than our record. This is a fair argument.

If the offense smooths out I suppose we could win our weak division.

The pessimist would say we have proven nothing yet.

This game against the Ratbirds will tell a lot about where we are.

Last year, needing a big win our defense holds the Pats to 10 points. We then get into a position to beat the Saints in their building. The Saints May have been the best team in football. Only lost that game due to a couple of flukey mistakes and awful DPI calls.

2016 a 9 game winning streak after being just about out of it at 4-5.
I think Tomlin’s leadership is at its best when the team has its back against the wall. We’ll see how it plays out Sunday, because it’s definitely back against the wall time.

Reading that injury report has depressed the hell out of me. JuJu and Conner have not practiced all week and should play but how good????

That would be an improvement over what they are getting from JW, Moncreif and Holton combined :taunt:

I also think Hilton could be a big part of this. It this situation I would rather see Hilton than VW. This is with us running this style defense. Jmo

Of course if JW was given a chance we might see something too. Not so sure why so many are down on him, it isn’t like anyone else is lighting the world on fire. Yeah DJ had the nice long TD but did JW get a shot? I have a feeling or maybe I am just hopeful that we see a different game this week with Mason taking some shot.

I included Moncrief and Holton

Anyway, just poking the leader of the Switzer hater club :smiley1:

But you have to admit, JW is running out of excuses and time. Has to step up soon, they need him.

I know you like Switz and that is fine but he is what he is. Like I said there are others that need to go before switz that is for sure.

As for JW my concern isn’t about him as much as it is why. Why isn’t JW being given a chance? I have yet to see where he has done anything that shows he can’t play. Yeah yeah the bs with Ben in the Denver game blah blah blah. Since then he has done well when given the chance and to be honest we need to get him the ball more to take pressure off Juju now more than even since Moncrief can’t catch a cold. Right?

Nope, I think JW needs more targets, maybe more opportunities will lead to more big plays. Holton has shown he can beat CBs down the field, the passes from the QB have been off, also last week with that BS OPI on him.

Ah, so when Switzer doesn't produce he's a bum but the other guys get a pass. Gotcha.

Those other guys not producing are hurting the team way more.

Hard to produce when you don’t get targets right?

At this point Switzer isn't providing anything, i just dont know why the flock anyone is talking about him. Much bigger concerns on this team.

Until Switzer is off this team and out of the league, I'm boycotting the NFL.:@

This is a bit perplexing due to the fact of having chemistry with Rudolph.

Switzer has no upside, we have seen the other guys make big plays, even though it was in preseason.

It’s going to be ugly. Ravens might have subs in by halftime like a college game.

Yeah right, this same Ravens team gave up 40 points to the Browns .
