Steelers should have listened to us a year ago, not sure what they ever saw in Grimble.

I don't see how you guys can think this is a good thing. It's not.

We're going to have to cut Montcrief in a few weeks to save our comp pick for Bell. Without Montcrief and Grimble who will us fans have left to b*tch about? Doesn't the front office realize that we need a player to complain about? They needed to plan ahead for life without Montcrief by keeping Grimble for us.

He was already on IR, we weren’t going to have to watch him attempt to play anyways....

But now who is going to stand around in sweats? What has Ben been wearing on the sidelines?

I always thought the guy was unreliable in catching the ball and in availability which is the best ability.

For some reason I started thinking about management decisions and was thinking how this was a bad one, but then I read an article that Bell is getting 2.9 yards a carry for the Jets and we all know the AB saga, we dropped a time bomb out the window just as it was about to explode.

A mixed bag on management decisions for players. However, historically speaking, especially so with receivers, when our #1 receiver is let go or leaves for whatever reason, his career is always greatly diminished. Overall, maybe we do better figuring out when a player already on the team has lost value and needs to be let go vs. when we pick up a new player.

CK how are you dealing with the knowledge that Dupree was the only Steeler to get above 90% on PFF rankings last week? You aren't planning on blowing them up are you?

When I saw that come across as an NFL app news update I said well that is going to ruin some fans day.:lolol:

Grimble was an adequate 3rd TE. Not nearly a Jerame Tuman, but that serviceable guy you brought on every so often.

The problem was making him the number two. I do think there were no standout upgrades on the waiver wire, but some were still upgrades nonetheless.

Vannett’s performance against the Bengals showed what a no.2 TE should be doing. Grimble was never going to be able to do that stuff.

Then who is your #2 TE? Gentry isn't ready, that's why they traded for Vannett.

I'm dealing just fine thanks for asking. I know exactly what Dupree is and PFF doesn't mean squat to me. A below average player trying to be average to land a contract.
