Great win but no time to celebrate

I hate having such a big game on a short week. This is a game you look back and go we would have made the playoffs if we won this game.

Good gameplan from Fichtner last night but I swear if he gets lazy and trouts out the same gameplan the Ravens are going to kill us. At least have some variations off it like let Samuels throw or throw it back to Rudolph to throw a bomb.

 

The wildcat gimmick won't work against the Ravens front 7. Also if Rudolph throw 15 or more negative to 0 yard passes we will lose. Ravens D is too good to be beaten by horizontal passes.

Rudolph will have to throw it down the field, which so far he has not done outside of 2 or 3 long bombs.

Also, we will have to win on defense w/o sacks because the Ravens OL is lightyears better than Cincy's and Lamar Jackson has serious wheels. He is Vick like in his escapability and running ability.

 

Can’t wait to see some of this next week. The skies the limit for these crazy kids....

 

Ravens gave up almost 550 yards Sunday. There better than the Bengals but I'd slow down in the Ravens defense is too good talk

They can be run on but I don't think the gimmicks are working against their front 7.

 

Browns have a pretty explosive offense. I would take their QB - Mayfield, RB - Chubb, TE - Njoku and both WRs - OBJ and Landry over ours. Giving up 500 yards to the Browns offense does not mean they are not a good defense.

I guarantee they finish top 5 in total defense this year.

 

What will piss me off is if he stops being aggressively creative with his gameplan. We now know he can actually plan for the opponent and play to our strengths (or away from our weaknesses, your choice).

And the one thing about short weeks like this is that our opponent has one less day to gameplan for us. They have one less day to prepare for our wrinkles where we already saw them play the day before. Glass half full? I'll take it.

We're ranked in the bottom 10 in offense so u could make a case of taking 20 teams QB tight ends and recievers over ours

 

Yeah, but that collection of skill players on the Browns offense is a top 5 collection. OBJ and Landry probably the #1 WR tandem in the league.

 

Landry is a better WR than OBJ. Very underrated.

 

Got to find a way to run it. Chubb ran all over them. Ravens always play us hard especially at Heinz field.

If the defense plays at the high level, and the offense just does enough we could get a victory.

But will we be ready? Usually how this goes.. Yay! Something worked, change nothing and do the same thing next week. Like the Ravens weren't watching MNF and going to spend all week game planning for it. They need to throw some wrinkles in or plan for something that beats whatever stops it. This is why we lose to the Patriots/Belichick. This is all mind games.

 

You mean the front 7 that just gave up the longest TD run in Baltimore history? And some 400 yards of offense? This isn't the hey day of Suggs, Lewis, and Reed. They can be beat.
