Nice win, but the Steelers need to figure out how to get the ball to Smith-Schuster, if this offense is going to have any chance of being consistently successful.

Yeah, if I have a complaint about this game, that's it. If they don't want Mason throwing down the field a lot yet, then hit JuJu on some slants. He's taken several of those to the house.

While I want to agree and get JuJu all the touches he can, the most important stat always is and always shall be "scoreboard". There's an overused expression that says "take what the defense gives you" and tonight was probably the epitome of that. For a change, the O actually seemed to have a game plan and better yet, it worked. Not saying JuJu isn't an incredible athlete and great WR, but he was aided immensely by having #84 opposite him the last 2 years. Until the new JuJu emerges to draw some fire, he may continue to be under-used from a fan view. The bomb to Johnson tonight certainly was reminiscent of several JuJu big plays the past few year.

Has our defense improved that much? Or are the Bungles just that bad?

The inability to cover the middle of the field against the pass is by far the real issue with this team. It was an issue even tonight. Our defense looked great because that O-line might be the worst pile of crap I've ever seen. A good O-line probably beats us. Mason needs to be given more rope against better opponents.

I hope it is both because the Bengals really are that bad. Their offensive line is terrible, especially in pass protection.

If Fichtner had used Samuels in the 49ers game, they might have got a win .

The Ravens defense isn't all that, they gave up 40 points to the Browns .

This right here....our defense is coming off back to back very good games. The defense did it's job vs the 49ers and we should have won that game and maybe if we did people would have a different look about this win last night. Bush looks like he is picking things up and the dline is on fire right now.

I don’t want to negative, but I disagree on the SF game. At least 2-3 of those turnovers vs SF were unforced gifts. Our defense was gashed with 6 yards per play and a 54% 3rd down conversion rate. SF routinely drove it into the red zone only to play keystone cops when they got there. It really shouldn’t have been a close game. I think the defense played better vs. Seattle. In that game is was just a handful of bad plays that did us in during the second half, but otherwise a decent performance.

You may be right but take into account how bad our offense was and how much the defense was on the field. Turnovers are part of the game gift or not, I agree with the whole 3rd down conversion rate. I am worried about the big cushion we give on pass plays. all in all our defense has played pretty good the last 2 games....imo

Safe to say I was wrong lol. I still don't have much home for the season, but that was a fun game to watch!

Yes it was! Just remember on Monday night they show up. If they played on Sunday at 1 the way they played Monday at 8 there would be no stopping this team.
