Hypothetical: How Many 1st Rounders to Get Mahomes

Let's say that Mahomes wanted a trade out of KC, how many draft pics is he worth. I'm thinking we would have to give up at minimum 5 1st rounders and 2 2nd round pics.

I can't remember anyone of his status being traded during their prime. This dude is the truth, he's going to break all records at QB.

 

Do you think he would sustain his level of success without the QB whisperer fat Andy?

Come again?! Trade for Mahomes?! Never going to happen. He is the reigning NFL MVP and on his way to a second should he continue and remain healthy.


He has no price tag on him. Not a slight by any means either. He is priceless; not tradeable to begin with.

 

Everyone has to have a price man, but you are right, I don't recall a player like him every being traded. I was just wondering "if" someone like him could be traded for, how much would it cost. 6 1st rounders and 2 or 3 2nd rounders is a lot of capital.

 

They're saying he's gonna cost the chiefs 40 million a year. I'm sorry but that is insane.

They'll have to just keep drafting wr's every year. Cause they won't be able to keep anyone and most of their wr will go for big money cause their stats will be inflated from playing with Mahomes.

I just hope he can beat Brady this year. If he doesn't, likely nobody else will.

In some systems maybe, in ours, not a chance in hell. Andy Reid gets a lot of hate for never winning a SB, but that dude knows how to get the most from his QB's. He's been doing it a long time with many QB's.

 

Two mega trades comes to mind, when saints traded their whole slate of draft picks to move up to 1 to get ricky williams, and the vikings trading 18 players and draft picks to dallas for herchell walker, neither trades worked out.................

 

Five rounders? I'm not sure I'd give 5 #1s for Jim Brown in his prime, even if he played both ways and was Dick Butkis on D.

 

5 1st rounders would be about my limit for Mahomes.

 

I give up a first rounder to the Chiefs to take this thread off our hands.
