Ok but it still bounced of the RBs. Whatever. If anyone wants to take some positives from the D it’s fine but if you think it was some kind of turning the corner performance I don’t see it SF played horribly sloppy and when we needed a stop the most they failed again...

I said Minkah definitely caused a fumble. Yes there were some positives but SF also did their part. When they needed a stop over and over the6 couldn’t get one is how I see it. Others opinions may vary...

If there's any consolation for this loss it's that how can you take seriously a "hard earned" victory when you were gifted 5 turnovers? Of course that didn't matter ultimately. lol

To quote Major League, "They're Sh**ty".

Even a not-even-average chef can take a Kobe beef steak and make something edible out of it. A sub-standard chef with Wal-mart steak will **** it up. This is Tomlin in a nutshell.

the only silver lining is AB is not playing anywhere and bell couldn't even muster 2 yards per carry today. hopefully he has bad season as well so we could all just be miserable after our breakup.

It goes back to Tomlin and if Tomlin is hamstrung by ownership then he's a coward. That's a firm but fair assessment.

If we don’t have a HC with the power to make the necessary changes then I want a new HC that does. It’s as simple as that to me

Well, they needed that third down stop, but got the lazy call on Barron...

They did get him out of the pocket and forced an in-completion.

one more first down by the offense or a punt and I think they can hold them. They had to go right out there after getting a "fortunate" fumble recovery and they got gashed!

Yes Butler. Absolutely. But this defense gets shelled and shelled quick. That lies on the players as well. Thank goodness they traded for Fitzpatrick. Average defense, sometimes below. When they start getting shelled it gets ugly.

Sadly Barren was in ideal position but because he’s obviously not a very smart football player he decided to put two hands on him for absolutely no reason. Just idiotic...

Curious as to if you don’t think that fortunate fumble wasn’t caused. It was caused every bit or more than most of ours.

Minkah makes most of the D look pedestrian.
It's the players, it's the coaches...it's bad all over.

Defense definitely made some bad plays without the help of their DC but their DC just continues to put guys in tough spots and he’s clearly not identifying the guys who are basically doing nothing. Barren for one....

Paul Zeise. He's incoherent. And, an incurable homer, like Paul Steigerwald.

Center hit the WR in the head on the motion...you can say he was worried about the pressure or you can say the WR timing was off...

    We don't know though.

That's what I'm saying...he didn't even grab him...all he had to do was keep his hands out like on punt returns...he wasn't getting the ball thrown to him in that situation.

He let his arms wrap around him while Kittle was just basically jogging the play out...Stupid penalty.

I thought you were talking about the Conner fumble as fortunate because that was clearly forced out.

Idk I saw a two handed grab. The right play is not to touch him at all and he did. Just a dumb thing to do

So the entire D Backfield for the Browns tonight are backups due to injury.

Fire Butler if they perform well tonight against the Rams.
