We all know there will be no HC changes in season. But no to McCarthy anyway lol.

 

We need to adapt to the rest of the league. Mike McCarthy is not the answer. Might as well dig up Chuck Noll. I actually have more faith in his sole than MT at this point.

If not him we need something different. My goodness that was a bad game. They talk about being ready coming off a bi week, we came off a 6 month bi and played like that. I think the GM should be in the conversation for change as well. The Dolphins got two firsts and a second for a two year tackle. We got a third and a fifth total for both AB and Bell combined and still get the $20 million cap hit this year. We got shook down, not as bad as the Raiders did but it’s bad.

I’m reading a lot of posts suggesting Mason is the future and he might be in soon. Ben just signed a monster extension and will be QB1 unless he retires or gets hurt. To be honest I was really disappointed in him Sunday, he did not look focused or even in shape but that doesn’t change the fact that the Steelers have hitched their wagon to him for at least another two years, probably three if he plays out the deal. We have no idea how ready Mason is, or if he will ever be ready.

As for Tomlin I think he will be under immense pressure if he doesn’t make the playoffs again. It would be very difficult for the organisation to stand over another failed season. There is a long way to go before that though. They may click on offence in the coming weeks and find a way to move the ball and the defence can be good if everyone stays healthy. A win over Seattle at the weekend is exactly the tonic needed now to kickstart the season.
