It’s pitiful how they let the TE disappear in this offense.

 

McDonald finally shows up. I said we would need him tonight, he has been invisible.

Even with the pats in prevent, the best we can do is a two yard completion...wiped out by a penalty on DD lol

lol we are dropping like flies. i guess it's good it's the first game, helps to have an early reality check and can just not be emotionally involved rest of the season.

They play in a lousy division.

The opponents any team plays is formulaic. two against each team in your division, every team in one AFC division rotated every four years, every team in one NFC division rotated every four years, and a team in the other two divisions in your conference based on previous year's finish. The last one for example is if you finish second, you play the second place teams in the other two divisions.

Obviously this wasn't the result we wanted tonight.....hard fought game....but such is life in the NFL.....hostile environment.... not enough splash plays....

 

Yeah, that was the game where Ben was sacked something like 8 times. It was brutal

 

I hope this isn't another season where NE gets a first round bye and the Steelers are scrambling for a wild card spot.
