It is corrupt beyond all means. And the worst is you have Patsy fans saying whatever happened that's fine you're on the best team in the league now. Ugh I want to vomit.

Yep. Before the Pats signed AB people didn't think he'd get more than a minimum deal or just have to sit out until next year. Now the Patriots signed him with a $9,000,000 signing bonus and it is the end times. The Pats took their gamble. If the Steelers don't like it they should go out there and beat them.

Well for a wide receiver to play with a quarterback who's won more Super Bowls than anybody ever has and goes to the super bowl half the time, it's a pretty exciting prospect. Being that AB has never won a Superbowl this is not surprising at all. A Super Bowl is really going to help his resume.

3 choices in 50 years would actually suggest they probably are lol.

There's a whole lot of pearl clutching going on in here.
After the Raiders released him, did anyone really think AB was going to sit out a season, and not end up with NE (although he still has a week to sabotage himself).

Randy Moss and Antonio Brown are way too different to be compared to one another. The main difference is not their talent. Their main difference is that Randy never quit on his team.

A.B. has quit on two teams. Not too sure if Bill himself can handle him.

He's only quit on teams where he knows he can't win a championship. It's not gonna happen.

The obvious, but unstated, part of your premise would be that every year they choose NOT TO CHANGE, that is a year they are not taking their original choice seriously (or something like that). The fact they only gave MT a 1 year deal (or that's all he would agree to) seems that this year is a real litmus test for big results.

Further proof AB and Rosenhaus probably already had a deal with the Patriots. Goodell needs to investigate this for tampering.

Nah. Of course on paper it looks unstoppable. But the Pats have transitioned back to a run first team, so TB isn't going to throw as much as BB. So there will be less balls being spread around to more talent (AB, Gordon, Edelman). AB's stats WILL decline. They will be less than what he would have gotten in Oakland. Can his ego handle it? We shall see. But if history is any indication, he's not going to be happy. What it will come down to, is can AB do things the Patriot Way and be a good citizen or will he be the same old AB? If a tiger can change his stripes, then yes, lets hand the Trophy to them now. But as I said.....if history is any indication........

The Raiders also game him a 'guaranteed' deal. I'll be willing to be that there are some really unique clauses written in his contract that allow the Pats to cut bait w/o all of the 'guarantees.'

Yeah once. With these over the top protect the quarterback rules it's damn near unlikely.

    No ****ing way.

    No ****ing way.

He'll play nice for a while, but it won't be long before he's up to the same old same old.

Honestly, I have no ill will towards him and wish him the best. Break a leg, Antonio. Break a leg. Tom, too. Break a leg, Tom. I wish you both the best of luck this season.
