Brady’s career numbers in 5 games vs Pitt in NE

    W/L: 5-0
    Cmp %: 71.9 percent (141-for-196)
    Yards: 1,797
    TD/INT: 18-0
    Rating: 130.8
    Yards/Att: 9.17

Possibly the most disgusting stat line I have ever seen.

Let’s hope age finally catches up with Tommy Terrific

I'd prefer it if just our defensive line catches up with him.

Pittsburgh is better equipped to win at Gillette this season than they were in 2015. Quite a bit has changed since then. The major question mark is not so much JuJu or even the offense.

My biggest concern is still Keith Butler. He did a great job last season containing Brady and company. Let us see what he can do the second time around.

Well..this is the best time of year. Game is going to come down to schemes and timing. Pats lost to Stellers last fall, with an excellent O line. Now there is very little backup for the O line and it's in disarray. The left tackle and center don't know what a full game is like and the new center needs to be in tune with his fellow lineman and he's not. So with great schemes by Tomlin and the face Brady throws in the lanes, and that can be a pick 7 for Steelers.Gowkowski is capable of missing two field goals to extra points a game, and has already in the preseason missed 3 in 4 games in very little time.

I hate all the press McDaniels gets when he shows no common sense and in-ability to change plays without Billy boy telling him at half time When Brady is getting killed or all on his own throwing balls at feet or behind the receiver even with no pressure, MCdaniels still calls of precision passing. Tom takes a few games and ever game early needs to warm up and has so many tipped balls for few other QBs are afraid of getting hit than Tom who have winning records. The offensive line had so many rest periods and game subs and now, no capable backups if they get tired to sub in. This bodes well for Steelers.

Pats receivers are all good but you can't catch much when the ball is thrown behind you or at your toenails and Brady does it a lot in early season and early in games OR if he is rattled. Ben and teammates are probably a tons better TEAM this year or will be. So game one is a perfect chance as any to grab a win.

I want to see how Bush and Chad(Pats) do as much as anything in this game, and how Tomlin attacks Brady for that and special teams to just 1 turnover may win it. Denied Patriot 3rd down conversions will tell a lot about the outcome too. If Brady does get the 3rd down conversions the Pats generally win. Tomlin has a chance of really showcasing his play calling ad schemes and Steelers have the best chance to grab one in Foxborough after banner hanging, With the two cancers gone and in your face. Now is the time to play and set up the yearly win total. As many times as Brady gets hit, got to stop the 3rd down conversions or it doesn't matter. But lots of nice schemes and hits on Brady and Steelers should win.

I don't come to a Steelers forum to listen to a Pats fan whine about how bad his multi Super Bowl winning team is.

Our starting safeties vs Brady are a rookie and a guy with one year experience. What do you think the game plan is?

the Cheatriots* went after Steven Nelson really hard in the playoffs last season when he was with the Chiefs and got a TD against him. I wouldn't be surprised if they attacked Nelson again

Yeah they did. I think dorsett caught a td on him. But brady lit that entire secondary up.

Dont sit in a zone the entire game like we did every year prior To last yr. Gronk didnt play as well last yr so they were more comfortable with playing man coverage across the board. I would say press man for most of the night to disrupt timing and rhythm for brady and apply pressure. Pretty much the only successful formula I've seen consistently work against them but you have to have the personell to do that. Like the ravens, broncos, giants, rams etc... the teams that gave them problems defensively in the past.
