He also apologized for the Facebook Live incident.

This will smooth things over until the Raiders are 2-7 and Carr isn’t getting AB his production

After issuing an "emotional apology" there are reports that not only with AB NOT be suspended but he will play Monday night.

Don't really care about Carr but I feel bad for the storm he is going to go through with AB.

Raiders are fools if they don’t follow through with a suspension of AB. The profanity laced racial slur outburst by AB along with the threat to punch him in the face is unacceptable.

Business was going bankrupt, he had to apologize.
Over/under on his next act? I'll take Tuesday.

He also criticized Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin for allowing Brown to attack a respected member coaching staff.“This is a situation that Coach Tomlin has allowed to get out of hand,” Clark said on ESPN in January, prior to Brown being dealt to the Raiders.

I don't want to hear all the BS Tomlin apologist anymore.

Smartest thing Raiders could of done was release him, and try to recoup 29 million.

They are going to regret keeping him.

Plus side at least he won't be with BB in New England

Does the under include Tuesday? Because once they get blown out and score 3 pts I see a massive tantrum coming of epic proportions. He might pee on Mark Davis's office chair.

If they were smart they would still suspend him. My understanding is that voids the guarantees. Then don't go after the money this time.. and play him the rest of the way with that $30 million give back floating over his head... then watch hom become a model citizen the rest of the year. Once that guaranteed money is his .. he will be back to his same old self

Pretty amusing that the hard line everyone was praising was immediately walked back with the promise that AB will perform on the field. The idea that anything other than performance on the field really matters to NFL people is silly. The Raiders are going to do whatever they can to try to make the diva happy so they can milk as much performance out of him as possible, kind of like what the Steelers did.

Agree. Hall of fame caliber players are very rare. The Steelers walked a tightrope, and i don’t see where it adversely affected wins and losses until maybe last season. It certainly didn’t hurt us in the recent playoff seasons (one of which would not have been a playoff season w/o the “immaculate extension”).

...and to think, this all could have been avoided if they had just dropped AB out of that plane at 10,000 ft onto a football instead of a football onto AB. Another missed opportunity in life.

Them letting him play Monday is the exact reason why brown acts the way he does. Because he knows he can get away with it.. Just keep adding fuel to the fire. 6 year olds would be embarrassed to see the way brown acts

The only course of action the Steelers could have taken was to never give him that Wallace contract and just let him play out his rookie deal and part ways.

He was like this from day 1 according to Ryan Clark and considering that AB got into a fight with one of the most beloved Steelers coaches ever on the very day he got that money, I'd say he was right. Think about the ego on him already if he was willing to get into a fight with Dick LeBeau. That's amazing to me, AB had no clout yet, still wet behind the ears and he was pulling that crap.

Tough love was never going to work on AB. Some people are just head cases. Steelers made the best of it for as long as they could.

I really think it's too late to try any sort of tough love. If you want him to play for you then you need to placate him as much as possible. If you don't want to do that then you shouldn't acquire him.
