Yeah, seriously. Ben was asked a question and answered it.... No one asked you AB, perhaps you're the one who should shut up.

All this continuation of the "AB vs. Steelers" saga is that AB intends to drag this out for as long as possible. It makes perfect sense to me. The more attention he receives, the more discussion will be revolved around him. Add in "Hard Knocks" to the list and Antonio Brown is one HELL of a tactician when playing the media into his hands and orchestrating the proverbial music to whatever tune he wants... for bad or even worse.

Now, whether or not he realizes this is bad publicity for him and has sympathy for the fact is another story all together.

I can just see the commercials for these helmet endorsement deals now.

Kids if you don't want to be a crazy and messed up as Antonio Brown you better where the Shutt air advantage helmet. Crazy AB not included not for game usage in the US or Virgin Islands. Actual crazy AB is not guaranteed by maker if product is used for its intended purpose, limits and restrictions may apply.

AB really might be the dumbest MFer in the league. He is about to find out just how good he really is or isn't.

Well if the Steelers wouldn't have rewarded his bad behavior by giving in to his demands, he wouldn't have tweeted this. So this is the Steelers fault.

Mr Thin Skin has since deleted the Tweet, so here's a screen cap for those who are late to the party.

The guy seriously can't help himself.

    Just.
    Shut.
    Up.

If he's this easy to respond to something so benign, just think what the locker room had to be like all of these years.

Question I have now Bobby is as it gets worse for the Raiders this season and it will get worse, will they take the 30 mill hit and dump him after a year? The follow up being yes someone will pay him but he has to know all this is going to drop his market value, no way does a 1000 yd season with 10+ td's make this headache disappear

I actually hope he doesn’t shut up. It just ads validity to the Steelers for getting rid of him.

Being a distraction absolutely doesn't hurt your market value in the NFL, even though every single team in the league wouldn't agree with that statement. Didn't you get the memo?

I can't imagine the Raiders getting through the season without some tension between AB and Gruden. That being said, if they finish the season with him and trade him before the draft, they would only have $1M in dead cap money, spread out over 2 years. At that point, the trick would be to find a trading partner. I doubt that he'd have any value on the trade block. I think they'd be lucky to get a single 5th rounder.

There's only 1 person around here that needs convincing of that, and he's proven that he's going down with the ship. Nothing will change his mind. AB could walk in to the the Raiders front office tomorrow and commit mass murder and that 1 guy would STILL say that the Steelers should have kept him and not rewarded his bad behavior.

(is this considered an ad hominem attack? asking for a friend)

AB is a big phony, in the past he called Ben his best friend on the team and the GOAT, but they were never friends according to him .

I got a feeling he's gonna start trending TO style... If this current team isn't a successful marriage that is. He'll still be in demand but the suitors will shrink and his asking price will shrink faster than a nut sack in a snow storm.

He'll have plenty of suitors because all of these shennanigans don't matter and don't affect his trade value.

I've never rolled around in **** and hoped to come out smelling like roses but I am intrigued by the ways of mysticism at the folks who do and those that champion such acts.

To be fair, if you hear the entire Ben answer to the question, it's pretty much his usual passive-aggressive "sorry, not sorry" type thing. He first says he's sorry that he publicly called out AB and that it cost him their friendship, but then he goes on to say that the other receiver he called out that day, James Washington, thanked him for the criticism and would work harder. That's not even thinly veiled.

Sort of typical Ben. Begin by taking responsibility, end by deflecting some of it.

And don't get me wrong, this is nearly all on AB.

It's a shame that such a talent can grow to be such a waste! I wonder if the NFL will ever clean up it's act? I wonder if we will ever see "football" again?

He thought it said "best end" on the team, not best friend. Also, in the one pic, Ben is hugging him without consent- hashtag ABME2. In the other, Ben said he wouldn't throw him the ball as much if he didn't hug him back, so he had no choice.

Actually, you have no idea if the helmet issue had happened. When you encourage bad behavior, more follows. Brown got everything he wanted by acting like an ass, encouraging him to continue acting like an ass. In both cases, despite noise to the contrary, it seems Brown was just trying to squeeze every penny he can from every situation.

It makes absolutely no sense to say Brown would have been even more emboldened if the Steelers had simply said no to him. How would refusing to give in to his demands embolden him?

You really should try understanding what people post before you comment on it. You might actually make more sense that way. Ask questions and seek the help of others next time.
