Luck has retired. A number of NFL teams have lose back up and starting QSs. Might get a 3.

I know the Eagles are worried. I think they lost two back-ups to injury.

A 3? Where are people coming up with this stuff? Alex Kazora from Steelers Digest looked into recent trades of players with the profile of Dobbs and the best they return is generally a conditional 7th. If the Steelers got a 6th for Dobbs they'd be ahead of the curve. A 3 would be an absolute steal.

I assumed he was referring to Rudolph for a 3, which also isn't very realistic as things stand right now.

if I'm one of the 'desparate' teams in dire need of a untested project QB, I think I can wait until next Friday, when the Steelers cut one of their budding Johnny Unitas'es. They ain't keepin 4.

The Eagles signed Josh McCown out of retirement, I don't see them trading for a QB.

I hope you're not thinking they will get a 3 for Dobbs .

Looks like Landry Jones pulled the trigger to soon on that xfl contract. if we can get a 3rd for Dobbs, then some team would likely pay Jones 10 mill a year.

This list is dated Aug 6, so some of these guys may have been signed (and Jones inked an xfl contract). These are/were the top list of NFL QB's available. Garrett Grayson, Conner Cook, Matt Cassell. Brandon Weedon. Matt Kaaya, Tanner Lee, Tj Linta, Brock Osweiler, Eric Dungey, Brandon Silvers, Luis Perez.

Now there is a list that strokes fear into every NFL head coach...fear that one of them may end up on his team. Dobbs may belong on this list, but I doubt he is any worse than most guys on this list. lol

Yes, lets trade a QB we have spent 3 years developing so we can get a 3rd round pick and draft some project who will always be 2 years away from being 2 years away.

I don't know why fans think Dobbs has any trade value, maybe as a late round pick, that's about it IMO.

I saw Kazora's article. What was the market for QB? Right now it is looking very good for a perceived quality back up.

If you read the article, then you should know that regular season experience (no matter how bad) usually trades for more than perceived-but-unproven talent. Most teams will dredge awful QBs out of retirement (**cough Vick cough**) before trying a younger player.

I would hate it if we got a call and gave up any QB except Dobbs for a pick next year.

I'd be fine with a 7th rounder. Better than nothing.

Give it up people. They couldn't even trade Landry who had a lot more playing experience than Dobbs.

Agreed Landry actually won a couple NFL regular season games and threw nfl touchdown passes in regular season games. Something Dobbs hasn’t done.

Not sure he would get much in return

My guess is that devlin hodges gets snatched up from our practice squad barring some mysterious injury to protect him
