He’s a RAIDER!!!! Don’t care about last year which is gone, history, over, ......

The Steelers have fans historically been accused of living in the past..... not able to move on and embrace the current..... this thread supports that narrative!!!

I guess we can’t talk about Franco Harris, Terry Bradshaw, mean Joe Greene, Jerome Bettis? And on and on.
I personally can’t stand Antonio Brown, but it’s definitely relevant to the Steelers.

They’re retired Steelers Legends!!! Brown is a drama queen Raider!!!

Not surprised you can’t tell the difference since you’re too busy being an antagonist!!

Well since the guy who owns and runs this message board has posted in this thread himself and hasn’t moved it I’d say you’re the one who can’t tell the difference.

p.s. Were you sitting outside Dirty Reds house with a pair of binoculars when you posted this?

I understand the logic both ways, but I generally concede to the infinite wisdom of the Grand Poobah.

I could understand if it was some undrafted free agent rookie who got cut after camp. We’re talking about a guy who is one of our biggest stars for nine years. Just cause he went to another team doesn’t mean we’re not allowed to talk about him anymore.

Plus the fact that the Steelers just traded him a few months ago and he’s basically pulling some of the same antics he did when he was with the Steelers it’s definitely relevant.

At least people are being smart about this one and not posting 25 different threads on Antonio Brown like they did with Bell just to get their look at any moment.

I don’t care that the thread was started or who has been a part of it..... that’s not the issue mr clueless!!!! My original point was it’s size and time to die....... a former player shouldn’t be the most relevant topic during this time of year..... again so you’ll understand is I’d like to see that thread die and more relevant topics about our current team and or players take its place in importance.......... again, I don’t care it was started or it’s lasted for a while but Id like to see it die as my original point/ request was clearly made...... sorry you didn’t get it but I just can’t write a book every time to help you understand simple comments......

I’m not surprised you’re adding a dirty red comment...... you wouldn’t be you without it

If you want it to die then why keep adding to it? I get it it's not important to you. You also think other shouldn't be interested in the topic. Well good luck with that.
Oh and thanks for questioning my intelligence. I think I might cry.

Actually, no, there didn't need to be a loss of fan support at all. The Steelers, especially Colbert, were being criticized. This was his defense against that criticism.

Regarding your second paragraph, you can twist yourself into a rhetorical pretzel all you like, but you did provide evidence to support my claim. Once again, thank you.

The team has also been dishonest when it feels the need. This was one of those times. You let them sucker you. I get why you keep arguing rather than seeing through their false narrative. It's the same type of defensiveness that motivated Colbert to shovel that stuff in the first place.

I'm beginning to think that Gruden and AB are playing us fans, media and the NFL in general. Nobody can be this idiotic, can they?

Oh I see they were receiving criticism, and that criticism motivated them enough to create a false narrative in order to dupe fans so they stop thinking badly of the Brown deal. It had suddenly become clear how could we not have seen through such an obvious ruse.

It is good that you have clued us in to this and I hope that you will join with us when we file a class action suit against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the National Football League for fraud.

Actually, it was obvious and it is the type of crap teams pull all the time. You know this as you pointed out examples of the Steelers being dishonest with the public to avoid criticism. This one was actually simpler than covering up the crap they used to put up with from Brown.

I understand the sarcasm. Being duped made you feel bad, so you lash out at the person who made it clear to you. It just shows me that you do know I'm right. Thanks.

While I rarely follow any player once he has left the Steelers, following AB and LB is just plain fun for me. I just want things to go bad for them and I will stay tuned all season.

I can see both sides of the debate about being on the SMB but both AB and LB were a huge part of the Steeler story in past years I like having a thread for their antics.

What rubs me the worst is how this dude disses Pittsburgh fans. People supported him to the fullest, he’s a snake and a two faced liar.

You do have to admire the length that he goes to, in order to avoid admitting that he's wrong.

Feel free to hide behind your sarcasm if it makes you feel better about being duped so easily by Colbert.

I thought the same thing when I first read the article. I remember similar press after the Santonio Holmes trade yielded the AB draft pick, but it wasn't until years later.
It would backfire if Bush turned out to be the next Jarvis Jones.

You admitted in an earlier post that every NFL team would disagree with you, but here you are insisting that you are right. I mean, there really isn't much more to say after that.

So I’m trying to be clear here. If your logic makes no sense, but you keep saying it over, and over and over, and you tell everyone you are right repeatedly, and tell everyone they are wrong repeatedly. Totally twist what others say to fit your narrative. Totally mistake what others say. This some how makes your lack of logic correct and makes you smarter than everyone else? I’m just checking.

Hopefully I don’t get my third pm on this asking me to have mercy and quit picking on someone.
