At least opening day. Long term may be otherwise. But, that is why he was brought in.

Bush will be a future HOF!

No, seriously wait at least one season before judging him!

Not good at all by any means. He will be needed in those types of situations; doubly so given Keith Butler's track record (see against Los Angeles vs. Keenen Allen). That being said, a good teaching lesson for him.

Not to mention some additional motivation the same.

his size worries me. However Jack Lambert was 6'4'' only weighed 220. I'm guessing there are plenty of smaller linebackers that have had outstanding careers in the NFL. I have my fingers crossed that he's the real deal and will be everything the steelers saw in him to trade up for him. I'm pulling for the young man to have a great career

Lambert was 204 and you know it's 2019, right?

It’s only preseason, but Bush was a beast in that game.
I love Shazier, but since his injury his greatness has been highly exaggerated.

Bush looked legit to me. Ulysses Gilbert looked like a man amongst boys in the 2nd half... but it was vs. future insurance and car salesmen.

So? Bush is the same weight as last years All Pro and DROY.

Is the thee inch difference in height going to sink him? I had doubts pre-draft but think he will prove the nay sayers wrong.

On a side note, I recently had a colonoscopy. When the doc was done I asked him to explain to my wife that in fact my head was not up there.

If the benchmark is whether Ben completes passes against you, I guess no one on the Denver team in 2015 (when they had the top passing and rushing defense) could cover. (If it was Dobbs completing three in a row, I'd be more worried.)

Any experience is still experience. Ulysees performed well in my opinion. A good first impression. He will need to put together more of those not only on defense but also on Special Teams to make his case for the final 53.

Dammit I wish I would have thought of that. I just took my wife to have one and would have loved to ask the Doctor if he found her head up there.

You are correct. There have been a number of outstanding NFL linebackers at Bush's weight. Not so much at his height. Sixteen of the thirty Hall of Fame linebackers are at , about, and below Bush's weight. Ten of Gil Brandt's best 47 linebackers qualify. However, only four under 6 feet tall.

The height aspect does not concern me as much anymore. Today's NFL is about Personnel Matchups. Devin Bush has the potential to be a match up nightmare for any offense.

That's fine but on the field it will be Bush that is the key to the defense improving, not Barron.
