Coastal Steeler Has Passed Away

    It's with a heavy heart that I share this news with you. Our friend @Coastal Steeler@Coastal Steeler passed away a few weeks ago. I considered Dick a friend, and even still have a letter he mailed me several years ago.

    "Sarge" was a great guy. He served two tours in Vietnam and was always quick to share a piece of wisdom or a funny story. While enjoying the beginning of preseason, please join me in raising a cup to a huge Steelers fan who will be greatly missed.

    Wholly chit.... that’s horrible news.... Coastal will be missed dearly.... thanks so very much for his service.

    It’s really sad that he won’t be here to see the Stairway to 7.... SB series.... it’s the least we could do for him.

    Coastal was a staple on this message board for many years. He always had great insight on the Steelers he will be missed.

    Sad news. Rest in peace Sarge. For all you were to this community and all you did in service for your country, words can not thank you enough. You will be missed. To each and everyone in our community I say thank you and stay safe this weekend, I don't like losing friends.
