    Yeah. As disgusted as I am about the three ring circus that the Steelers have become, one thing I love about them is that this type of crap seldom sees the light of day. I am amazed at how they can keep something like that under wraps?

    So if the Steelers had a Blake Bortles type QB, they still would have had a winning record every year because of the surrounding talent. Is this what you are saying? Methinks you give Ben too little credit.

    Except Foles didn't play like a game manager, the Eagles trusted him to ball out, unlike a Dilfer or Brad Johnson :shrug:. Foles had over 300 yards and was SB MVP.

    Agree Ben is a HOFer. Also pretty impressive that Tomlin has gone 12 years without a losing season.

    Lol I'll name bad qbs who have won super bowls but you'll be like well it wasn't windy that day and I had my tv facing my bedroom wall that day. Lol so what's the use

    Foles also had a season (2013) where he threw 27 TDs vs only 2 ints, and had a 119 passer rating. He’s a “system QB,” but when the system fits his comfort zone he can be very effective. Jacksonville can be very good next season with Foles playing under his former QB coach from Philly.

    Here is another take on the Tomlin extension. Rooney is at least smart enough to know that his three ring circus (although he denies it exists) has pissed off die-hard Steeler fans and knew he would be crucified if he gave Tomlin a long term extension but he wanted to give his ring-master a little show of faith?
