Which fumble at the worst possible time are you referring to? The one near our own goal line in the tie vs Cleveland, or the one in the 4th quarter in Denver? One was critical in turning a win into a tie, and the other was critical in a loss. He also had a weird one where the ball got knocked airborne and went out of bounds before anyone could recover it (don’t remember which game, but I think we won that one). I agree that fumbles happen, and he’s not a fumbling machine like some RBs become when they hit the NFL. However I do think it’s an area for improvement. Truth be told, my bigger concern with him is whether his aggressive style will continue to result in injuries. He may initiate violent contact more than any other feature RB in the league. Don’t get me wrong, I like Conner a lot, and I hope/think he will take another step forward in refining his game.

He could take pointers from that all time great, HOF Steeler Franco on how to run.

Connor is on his third year of a four-year rookie contract. He’s not going anywhere if he continues to play the way he has his first two years.

IMO, Samuels is too dynamic to be passed-up by a rookie. It's not like Snell have the ability to take it to the house sometimes. I can see us using Snell as a redzone weapon...

Neither of these 3 RBs have the speed for long breakaway runs imo. It does not seem they value that over the traits these bigger backs have. I have wanted a more dynamic back in the draft the past 2 years but it does not seem that will happen. OTOH, I am fine with the ball control and punishing style that these 3 bring to the table so it is what it is.

That’s funny right there I don’t care who you are....

Samuels has lost weight and gotten faster. Wasn’t his combine 40 the same as Lev Bell’s?? He performed well when called upon last year and that will only improve.

I like all our Rb's, I just hope all can be utilized properly.
Time of possession is key for Steelers With our OL the running
game has to be exploited. This way #7 will have less chance to throw to the other team.

I don't care if they score in 10 seconds as long as the defense doesn't give it back in 9 seconds and we score again only to miss the extra point. We can score quickly as long as we keep them from scoring quicker. Time of possession only works when you complete those drives with the full amount of points. Not time possessed between the twenties and a missed fg or stalled in the red zone. Then stop the other team on a regular basis.
