Yeah but Tomlin has never publicly expressed his disdain for beer. It’s the popcorn he tries to keep under control.

Yeah let’s just throw guys out there and see what happens. That’s a good way to lose games. Besides that’s what practice is for.

Agree. If a guy doesn’t show enough in practice under controlled conditions, there’s no reason to throw him into a game.

Yet we had guys (burns) that looked good in practice but couldn't do it during games. Vince is another. I still think this kind of talk is exactly butler's stamp and it's not been a success. Allen looked pretty good last preseason. We have heard all the talk of the defense being too complicated and attempts to dummy it down, again butler's stamp and the defenses downfall. JMO.

Manziel is a perfect example. The Browns put him in games when he didn't know enough of the playbook to benefit from playing time.

I agree with your agree, and raise you an agree.

Tossing DBs out to let them screw up costs you games.

Doing that with a left tackle costs you a quarterback.

Interestingly doing it with a WR doesn't do much, it's like they are hearing their own game in their heads.
