What about Johnson and Snell? Looks like Bush is 55. Hope Johnson takes an 80's number... not a fan of the TEENie-bopper numbers on WRs.

Johnson has 13 for mini, Snell has 29, Gentry was issued 83. Bush wanted to keep his 10 that is why he chose 55.

This smells like a Bell thread in disguise.

We're going to need you to come downtown for further questioning.

I think it is awesome that Barron will wear the number some how fitting.

I agree. Do you think that opinion is a reflection of our age, or it just sucks?

It’s the league spuriously changing rules to benefit the passing game!

Though I suspect my dislike of it is due to nostalgia. Like how I bemoan teams who changed from their 80s uniforms.

Ain't that the truth Jeh. I can remember when receivers ALWAYS wore numbers in the LXXX's while XC's were reserved for D linemen. They even played in the original Coliseum, long before Oakland and LA's were even conceived. :lolol: (And some guy named Ben Hur dominated the Pompeii 500 back then).

Arabic numbers (1, 2, 3...) weren't invented - we were all still using Roman numerals. Of all people Mac, I figured you remember the early days, you know, back when school was so easy because history hadn't been a subject yet. ;)

I am glad Barron is gonna take 26 instead of Snell. I don't want Snell to get caught up in the whole LB comparison.......mostly by himself.

I'm used to seeing big time WRs with jersey numbers within the 80's range. Like a Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Jerry Rice, Michael Irving, & others. I don't understand why today's WRs prefer numbers in the teens. To me it doesn't look right. A big time WR should be wearing something in the 80's...
