Almost certainly. Over the years a few 10-6 teams have missed out, but very few.

EDIT: Since 2000, 65 teams have gone exactly 10-6, 57 made the playoffs. 87%. So while my 'almost certainly' comment was a bit overstated, the chance of getting in the playoffs at 10-6 is still very high.

    7-9... obviously UNDER.

    Ceiling: 9-7
    Likely: 7-9
    Floor: 5-11

Either way, it's gonna be 2 years without playoffs. 9-7 won't cut it.

The AFC will be like the BCS race again... with a minimum of 12 wins clinching most divisions, except for AFC North.

I can see Colts, Chiefs, Chargers, Jaguars (with Foles), Patriots and maybe Texans racking up 11+ wins.

True, but we were closer to having 8 wins than 11 wins.

What people say or expect to happen is one thing, I am a show me its changed type. So, until it actually is changed, its just wishful thinking and optimism (which there is nothing wrong with its just that I've been wishing and hoping for a while now and we are what we are, Still)

Under. We go 6-10 in Tomlin's final season as head coach, which will be the only redeeming thing about the culmination of our protracted slide toward the bottom of the division. Well, that and our first top-ten draft pick in years (other than the one we just traded for).

There are certainly personalities which make bold predicitions about everything but more specific wins and losses. I will await their posts so I can do the exact opposite.. Works for my trading accounts so why not lol

if you really want to bet your money bet this.

    Tomlin has been

    8-8 = 2 times
    9-7 = 1 time
    9-6-1 = 1 time
    10-6 = 2 times
    11-5 = 2 times
    12-4 = 3 times
    13-3 = 1 time

so we have like a 75% chance based on Tomlin's past to get 10-11 wins lol.

I was wondering if someone would predict a worse record than 7-9. You're cramping my style.

Tomlin's final season will be 2020 not 2019, if he doesn't get a extension .

I'm going another 9-7 year. The AFC North has improved. Plus our schedule is no cakewalk. I really hope I'm wrong so we shall see.

10-6 Devin Bush goes full on DROY mode (Defensive Rookie of the Year)

As long as our O-line is healthy, we can beat anyone on our schedule.

Last year, the Patriots had 5 losses to non-playoff teams.
As long as the Steelers find a way to win versus the playoff teams, I won't care about the 5 losses.

The Browns pulled it off, in their best regular season of the last 23 years.

They lost on tiebreakers to the other 10-6 teams (swept by the Steelers, and Titans had a better common-opponents record).

Couldn't agree more with everything he said. And Mark Schlereth who's opinion I probably hold in higher regard than anyones says it can't be overstated how detrimental it is to a team with a me first player like AB in the locker room. Bell is a me first guy too although not sure how much of a negative effect he had in the locker room (prior to the hold out) but he definitely is not a team guy.

My biggest concern going into the season is not the players but the coaches. If they can do a good job this year, I think the Steelers are division winners and playoff bound. I won't put them in the SB because KC and NE will be the teams to beat IMO but won't count them out either.

Yeah right 3 teams from the AFC South with 11+ wins, the Chiefs might take a step back, after gutting their defense.

Yes.. because AFC North winner will be 8-8. AFC North will be weakest division in NFL.

Browns or Ravens will take the north.

Actually, I’m hoping all the overs bet, which will make the line move up, then the under becomes much better. I’m selling short on this one.
