i was lucky enough to get to come here for work. Didn’t get to stay long. Wow what a beautiful place!

I did go to Grille 36 and got a tour from the manager and saw “the bus’s” private man cave room and memorabilia! Truly awesome!

Had a Primanti Bros Pitts burger sandwich. It was ok good and unique that’s about it.

Bought a terrible towel from the pro shop at Heinz field and walked around and saw stuff in the general vicinity including the exact spot of the immaculate reception. Super cool!

Can’t wait to come back! I have to come see a game! As I was walking around the stadium all I could think about and hear in my head was Renegade and wanting to be a part of the crowd!

    Fantastic

Many years ago National Geographic did an article on Pittsburgh. They said if Pittsburgh was in Europe people would go visit it.

I am from Ireland and have never visited Pittsburgh. I hope to someday make the journey and make a game. Logistically it is a nightmare from Ireland.

I am hoping to make the @Jets game later in the year as getting to New York is much more straightforward.

I know Primanti Brothers is a must for most visitors but if you get one go to the original one at the Strip. Do yourself a favor next time and find a local pizza joint. Pittsburgh has some of the best pizza in the US. JMHO.

Primanti sandwiches are pretty over rated in my opinion.. Decent but always dry.. Coming through the tunnels and coming out to the city is prob the one of the best sights u can have honestly. Especially at night

When I first started going there they only opened at 3 am. I usually had just been tossed out of some other establishment at closing time. Somehow they tasted better then.

I’m done with soggy coleslaw on my fries lol. I can’t take the Italian bread anymore either, give me some French bread but their pizza slices are awesome.

To the OP, you must’ve missed the magic force field tunnel, traffic and Wilkinsburg..... and drunk azz Pitt kids protesting the latest outrage of their privileged lives. Come to Cranberry it’s nicer outside the city

Love hearing these stories. When I grew up there the place was dirty as hell and the smelled of bad eggs from the steel mill stacks. The penguins didn't exist, the Steelers sucked big time and my beloved Pirates ruled the city.

I remember those days, the smoke was so thick and dirty it blocked out any sun shine that was available, what a change getting rid of the steel mills made.....

I helped make some of that. I worked J&L coke ovens and open hearth while in college.

I am a life long Steelers fan (50 plus years) and I have never been to Pittsburgh. Sure hope to someday. We are still talking about moving to Florida (from Oregon) someday so I would at least be closer...you never know.

What part of Texas? I’m in dallas myself. It’s not easy being a Steelers fan in cowboy country. My reply to all the hate it still just one word. “SIX” nobody has a real comeback to that here except “we’re America’s team” which I promptly educate them that the Steelers were offered and declined that phrase first!

Wow, you're old. I mean, Im old and even I can't remember any of that other than the Pirates being good....the old Lumber and Lightening days.

You can find a cheap, short (2:15), non-stop flight to Pittsburgh from anywhere in Florida except Jacksonville. So unless you move there, you shouldn't have an excuse.
