Great athlete. Just to me he disappeared alot. I am always nervous of the guys who seem to get their stats against weaker teams. I hope I am wrong and probably am. I didnt watch him every week or anything so maybe if he is the guy he is a stud.

I wouldn't be opposed to him at 20 but I dont like giving anything up to go get him. To much value at 20 and to much defensive value in the middle rds to give up those picks. Imo

We still have the second pick in the third round this year. That is all we would be giving up this year.

He is alot like a Christian Miller. That's why Miller is a 3rd round pick

Nope he's better, that's why he will be a first round pick.

I disagree but hey, it happens. Burns is no where near as good against the run

and another "How mad would you be with..." scenario

What if they went offense in both 1 and 2? Say a TE with the 1st and a WR in the 2nd...

Then with 3A they went Pratt, Long, Coney whoever is available and with 3B they went S with Hooker or Savage.

I'd say they'd be stacked on offense....

How mad would you be with

    1 TE- Hockenson or Fant
2 ILB- Ben Burr Kirven or Pratt
    3a WR- Mecole Hardman
    3b S- Amani Hooker

    I'd be good with that...

Hardman has some wheels, 3a would be great but I bet he goes in the 2nd. Someone will jump in the 2nd for that 4.33

I could definitely see those position groupings though. TE, WR, ILB, S/CB. In some way for the first 4 picks.

Hmm... I still need to watch some film on Burr Kirven. He’s filled up the stat book with tackles, that’s for sure. I vacillate on Fant. He has to be used correctly to maximize his impact. That means more play action than we typically use, and more use of the TE in the slot or split wide than we usually use. I see the potential, but maybe not the fit.

Hockenson; Pratt; Hardman; Hooker.... yeah that works.

Don't burst my bubble pal....I've been on the Hardman wagon before he ran that " disappointing " 4.33:smiley1:
I know he's rising fast but I'm hoping his lack of experience and production leads him to falling in our laps.
He's barely scratched the surface and provides immediate major upgrades at KR and PR. He is more of a multidimensional offensive weapon at the moment but his upside at WR is enticing.

definitely enticing, him and Moncrief will do some damage on those deep throws

    Ladarius Green without the concussion?

As far as PA? IMO it's paramount to equalize the run/pass ratio. So I would hopefully like to see a bit more of it. I could easily see Fant in the slot. He was used quite frequently in that manner.

Yeah, Fant can be very productive is used right. Hockenson I like a lot more though. Him and Vance would be a great matchup problem for defenses. They can both block in line, and they can both threaten the defense downfield. It makes it hard for the defense to match up vs. both the run and pass threats at the same time.

Fant offers more downfield speed, but he’s a lesser blocker, especially in line.
