I think he means edge, te, wr rb are needs. But there's a period after Johnson. Edge just starts off the new sentence.

I believe Cody Sensabaugh will be on speed dial if a good CB doesn't fall to them in the draft where they like, so TE seems to be more of a need in my eyes. However, Raymond will be 24 and I think the 3rd is too high for a developing Warring. Best value is CB and also a need.

I'd rather have Ballentine in the real one but I'll vote David Long CB Michigan.

It was a dig at the Steelers love affair with small corners. :)

I added round 5 since this thing is moving smoothly, should have no problem finishing that off before the draft :herewego:

Apparently I have been dipping into your stock because I mixed up my teams and double dipped at the same position for Detroit in the 3rd.:guiness: :tequila: :puking 3:

Steelers are on deck after @turtle@turtle picks..... thoughts? I'm thinking we have to go RB or WR at this point, but I need to weed through the best remaining.

I think my best available RB's are Damien Harris RB, Bama and Miles Sanders RB, Penn State

One of the things I love about our mock draft is finding players I hadn't seen yet.

Like Damarkus Loge. Everyone is so focused on DK and Brown from Ole Miss but he's probably the most polished and definitely the best blocker.

    Here's one review on him:

Lodge may be the least heralded of the Ole Miss wide receivers, but I’m more confident in him reaching his ceiling than DK Metcalf or AJ Brown. Despite a bit of a limited role in alignment, there was development in his game as a Senior. He dropped less passes than his junior year, and showed more effort throughout all aspects of the game. His natural ability was already that of a Day 2 player, as his athleticism, size and acrobatics makes him an enticing talent. There have been instances where Lodge was relied on to take over stretches of game, and he responded well. His leadership was seen on his Senior year film, as he was constantly flying around the field. Lodge will likely uncover no matter the coverage defenses throw at him, giving him a generally high-floor. Lodge has rounded off his game, and is one of the most complete receiver prospects in the NFL Draft class. -Kelly of The Draft Network

Watch him make this DB lose his shoes. If it was a good throw, easy TD.

    Eye popping catch

Here's some film comparing him to Brandon Llyod

So the Steelers draft so far is
    1. LB - Devin Bush
    2. S - Chauncey Gardner-Johnson
    3. CB - David Long

(Side note, so glad we don't get a vote in the actual Steelers war room)

Agreed we should go offense. in no order below are my top 3 at RB and WR

    RB
    Damien Harris Bama
    Benny Snell Kentucky
    Miles Sanders Pen St.

    WR
    Lil'Jordan Humphrey - Texas
    Jalen Hurd - Baylor
    Jakobi Meyers - NC St.

Going defense in 4 straight rounds isn't something I'm advocating but there are a few better quality guys on d that I wouldn't mind in the 4th

    Edge - Joe Jackson Miami
    DL - Charles Omenihu Texas
LB - Terrill Hanks New Mex St

For my vote I'll go with Lil'Jordan Humphrey WR Texas
backup vote for Terrill Hanks LB New Mex St

I believe TE is a greater need than WR. But I could go either position. Don't think they go RB in the 4th jmo.

    TEs available:

    Kahale Warring
    Dax Raymond
    Dawson Knox
    Josh Oliver
    Alize Mack
    Drew Sample
(not all may be rnd 4 material and there's more I'm sure)

WRs are previously listed by others...

I'm going to have to second that vote. Just a well balanced TE and a lot of upside.

I'm with turtle on this one.

We already have bush. All we need now is a tight end.

Well with ILB, S and CB already taken here are some guys I like:

    Barry Snell RB
    Miles Saunders RB
    Te'von Coney ILB
    Beau Benzschawel G
    Hunter Renfrow WR
    Josh Oliver TE

I like Renfrow a ton here look at what they say about him:

He's a great route runner. He catches everything. He's quicker than fast. He's a coach's son. I think I checked off all the cliche boxes for a white slot receiver, but they are all true. Watch him work against Minkah Fitzpatrick and tell me if you think he can play." -- East coast area scout for AFC team

Heh...Renfrow went to my high school (I’m a good bit older than him). His dad has been there since I was...coaching tennis, football, was AD for awhile. My step sons dad helped coach them when he was playing there 5 years ago.

He’s about as good of a kid as you’ll ever find. Renfrow has all the things you can’t measure, like character and heart/desire. He was an unrated recruit coming out of high school with basically one scholarship offer. He gambled on himself by walking on at Clemson, received a scholarship later, and ended up with the game winning catch as time expired in national championship. Straight out of a Hollywood script!

You wanna clean up the locker room and get someone who could be a leader later on, he’s the kind of player you get. Oh yeah, the kid can ball too

Yeah I heard this on the Radio, super high character guy like you say would be a breathe of fresh air for our locker room after this off season. I would love to vote this guy in right here, people will say he has small hands but I don't care on the field he catches everything so there's that. People have to stop with these numbers and start looking at production and this kid has it.

Not very often you have a 4th round guy that can offer so much and IMO this kid can. Especially with the group in front of him. Juju, JW, Moncrief and Eli will help this kid learn before being pressed into it. Of course some here don't like JW so even more reason to grad this guy.

Screw this I am voting............Hunter Renfrow for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
