Criminal cases can take years to resolve. How has he gotten away with anything? The courts are the only ones that can find guilt and that process isn't quick.

    1. They offered to drop the charges on him if he admitted guilt
    2. He refused and his lawyers are now setting it up to sue the state

He hasn't received any punishment and won't. So you tell me how he isn't getting away with it. By the time this lengthy case gets through he would of already retired and will receive jack ****.

He hasn't received any punishment because the criminal charges have not yet been tested in court. That takes time.
As for the offer to drop the charges, it's called a deferred prosecution, and although I'm not from the US, it's my understanding that deferred prosecutions are common. We have something similar in Canada, but it's not called a deferred prosecution. The intention is to unclog the courts by resolving some offences, typically ones not involving violence.

A lot of other people charged were also offered the same deal, it wasn't just Kraft. So it's not just Kraft being offered the deal and has nothing to do with his money, although it's no secret that money creates advantages.

Even if he ends up getting nothing, who cares? He paid for something that should be legal anyway, something thousands of other people do every day. He's far from the only one and the only reason there are victims when it comes to prostitution is due to the fact that it's illegal and the black market is controlling it as a result.

You might be right about the legal position but when the owners hold the players accountable for "protecting the shield" and dole out stiff penalties for "conduct unbecoming", he needs to held accountable on that level, maybe even more stiff.

We will see but from a lot of examples from history nothing will be done. It doesn't matter if you consider it not that big of a crime, it was still a crime. Laws are laws, I'm not here to argue about if it's right or wrong, dude got caught. A player would be suspended. There is a big difference between a billionaire and some joe blow off the street getting into legal trouble, billionaires buy their way out. Ben wasn't even brought up on prosecution yet he was suspended, this guy was caught red handed with video and nothing will happen to him.

No idea how it plays out in Canada but I know how it plays out here in America and actually everywhere in the world, money talks and BS walks.

Especially in our legal system where justice plays a distant 3rd to the fraternity of lawyers and money.

Do you have proof that a player would be suspended for getting caught with a prostitute? I'm not saying I don't believe you, but not all crimes are considered equal. A crime involving violence is going to be treated harsher than one without violence. A player getting in trouble constantly will be dealt with differently than a first time offender. So while laws are laws, the punishment must fit the crime and not all crimes are equal. So is there a history of players getting suspended for getting caught with prostitutes?

I do agree that money creates advantages although money can't solve everything. In this case though, it appears everyone involved was offered the deferred prosecution, not just Kraft. So unless they were all rich, then money has nothing to do with the offer to Kraft

There hasn't been a player caught in a prostitution sting. I gave you one example of a person not accused or even brought up on charges that was suspended. I'll give you another one, adrian peterson who was suspended even though he wasn't brought up on charges for spanking his kid. Spanking your kid is not a crime, paying a hooker is. I've seen a bunch of undercover shows where guys get busted buying drugs and soliciting sex, they all get fired from their jobs. A player would get suspended immediately, that's fact. The commissioner's exemption list was created for that person and the language of the NFL rules state that he has the right to suspended anyone for bringing unwanted attention to the NFL, including owners. Smoking weed is not a violent crime and how many players are suspended for that, including first time offenders.

And he isn't a first time offender, that mfer knew all about the cheats cheating.
