Tre Lamar Clemson

I wouldn't be heartbroke if they ended up landing this guy in the 2nd round. I think he actually is better than White and Bush at the point of attack shedding blockers.

He's more in-your-face as opposed to attempting to evade blockers it seems.

He had decent speed at the combine also which shows up on tape.

Not sure how he would be as a nickel backer though.

I like how he plays against the run.

 

Yeah. Definitely I think he faces blocks at the point of attack better than Bush and even White.

The Steelers need a guy that can be utilized in the Dime though. Need speed. Even though I admit after reviewing tape, I'm not all that impressed with how Bush attacks the line of scrimmage at running plays at times.

Maybe with solid coaching he could be great, but that's what concerns me lmao

I like what I see from this Lamar against the run. I guess his advertised 40 time was his pro day?

 

Tre Lamar ran a 4.95 at his Pro Day. Not very good. Rather, good for run support but not much else.

 

Kid reminds me of a young Vince Williams. Not really what the Steelers are looking for.
