I don't have any names yet but thinking edge or TE should be the focus. Biggest needs at this point.

You don't think CB is a big need? Also my thinking is cause there are still a lot of edge guys out there. I agree TE is an option as well.

No, not really. I like the Nelson signing plus we just drafted CGJ who is a swiss army knife back there. I think we are pretty set and can look at CB in next 2 rds.

I'm looking at Jace Sternberger. A 6'4" 250lbs TE who had 48 catches for 832 yards and 10 TD's in the SEC.

I'm seeing rd two grade so there is very good value grabbing him in the 3rd. The Draft Network is great for getting thorough evaluations. NFL.com sucks.

Not my official vote yet, have to peak at some film.

I am going with Ridley because while AB is still considered on the roster, he still and will need to be replaced because of the impending trade. I hope Washington develops into a #2 receiver, but there is no guarantee that he will, so it is important to throw more athleticism at the position. I don't want to see what we saw vs. New England in 2016 - subpar WR play.

Remember, in this world we did not sign Nelson. But don’t worry, we have Burns, and can probably resign Sensabaugh. :dancing:

Since we do not have Nelson in this world (signing happened after we started), I’m going with David Long, CB, Michigan

Well in our world we haven't signed Nelson right? This is why I am thinking CB is a big need also imo after Johnson there is a big drop off. I know some are high on Blace Brown and I like Johnson's teammate Baity as well as Jamal Peter and Jimmy Moreland but they all are a notch below Johnson.

What if find funny is here in the 3rd round some ILB's that a lot of us like are still out there, Edwards, Coney and Hanks are all there. I agree TE is a need but is Sternberger really worth the pick right here, is he that much better than Moreau or Oliver? This worries me with a guy on the lighter side:

"You wish he was a little bit faster but he makes up for it with his routes. You feed him, get him stronger and you'll have an NFL starter who gets you 50 to 60 catches a year." -- AFC tight ends coach

I'll go with my official vote of Riley Ridley, WR, Georgia. I think we need to go offensive skill position at this point of the draft, no way they select top 3 on defense with impending loss of our top two producers.

Sorry Blast, I had Sternberger in mind for Tenn since the start of the 3rd.
I do believe our pick should be offense though esp TE or WR. I like Dax Raymond but he's a bit older so i bet Pitts would pass. I'll have to look more when this afternoon. On my phone now

    Crap, you guys are right.

NY, no, Moreau and Sternberger are completely different TE's. The former is a TE2 inline blocker type and the later is a versatile move TE that can attack the whole field. I don't know about Oliver, haven't looked into him.

    Cold blooded.

I’ve watched a few games of Moreau, and I think the perception of him as a receiver is more a function of how he was used in LSU’s offensive scheme than actual limitations in ability. The guy can catch, and he can bust the seam as well as Hockenson. I think he’s currently an undervalued prospect by the media draftniks.

He reminds me of Ben Koyack whom I beat the drum for a few years ago. I won't be fooled again :lolol:

Put me down for David Long, CB, Michigan. Tomlin would drool over this kid if he weren't so tall.

CB is definitely a need here without the real Nelson signing.

    David Long.

I agree with CB but I am voting Johnson. Edge, TE, WR, RB can all be had in the next few rounds...jmo.

Did you mean Miller? The only Johnson I see is a CB.
