    Good.

don't forget we have some guys capable of making some noise as futures picks too. Griffey, white, Jones at wr. Scales at lb, I liked this kid in the draft last year. The te from ysu. A few rbs here as well. Herb waters a big corner from miami. Many of these guys were good college players and now have some time under their belts to learn.

That's very good. Add a good young RB and draft Defense at every level.

    Mid rounder ?
I would draft 2 WRs in the first 5 picks. Probably in the 2nd and either second 3rd or in the 4th round.

For some reason I think Eli has some talent.

I would concentrate on defensive players who can make an immediate impact to make a last ditch effort to win while Ben is here. Improve special teams in the process. The offense is still strong enough to be top ten.

The two WR signings is typical of this time of year. We filled gaps and have a roster. We don't have to reach for a WR in the draft. That's not to say we shouldn't or won't draft one, we just don't have to if a decent one isn't available at our pick.

The CB signing is on the same page.

Unfortunately, we will probably not have this luxury at LB.

Agreed, especially with Fort gone. They are going to have to draft help at linebacker.

Can't be any worse than last season where a star player would rather kick and pout about getting more undeserved money and another star player thumping his Big Chest.

I guess that's a good perspective to view it from. Tomlin is on the clock. If this turns out to be another disaster he will be gone.

Two tight ends can take the field at once. We only have one good one. Need another.

It is funny how Eli has gone pretty much under the radar as a pretty good 3rd down slot option. So got to only be happy with this signing. He's done great while in the Burgh for his role.

Not sure i agree. When was the last time a team won a superbowl due to elite WR. If one of the top 2 TE drops to us maybe we could take them but unlikely.

I hope we draft on defense in round 1.

Question for me is whether we go corner or LB

Tomlin will never be fired by the Steelers. He will leave on his own terms when he wants to. Art II doesn't even has the sand to ask him to resign.

    Death

    Taxes

    Tomlin

As much as I've criticized Tomlin lately, Im willing to give him another chance now that Mr Thin Skin is gone to the Raiders. Even though he had a big part in creating that cancer, I really want to see what he can do with that distraction gone. I will be quiet about Tomlin for this coming season.

if the ILB they want is gone by the time pick 20 comes around, they should draft a stud WR. Outside of juju, none of those WRs aren't really anything imo. gonna need another baller at WR. draft a lot of defense after that though

It's rare ( Ithink)for a coach to go into a season as a lame duck HC. I still say Rooney is hoping for a great start to justify a extension. I'm find it odd it hasn't happened yet and I do believe it's because the unhappiness is growing and the timing isn't right.

I'll bet you a drink that doesn't happen, if I knew what bar you hung out at I'd even be willing to drive from Ohio to collect.
