Hard to say we would be better right now. But I do believe with the right attitude (more run, less pass) ball control and more efficient on O and we have a chance at being better. 70/30 run/ pass isn't the answer. Reel Ben in a little bit. The only stats I care about are Ws....

I just read that Nelson’s deal only counts $4 million towards our 2019 cap.

Whhaaa??? Come on dude, thats what forcing the ball means, throwing it when he shouldn't.

AB definitely affected Bens decision making. Doesn't matter whether Ben should have allowed it to or not, the fact that it did is all that matters.

I think there's almost no doubt Ben was forcing the ball to AB when he didn't need to do so. Hell, this AB stuff flared up once Ben starting going to JuJu more.

Sorry man you feed your big dog, no risk no reward Ben know that. That play where Ban called AB out when BEN threw a bad ball in the endzone for a INT is on Ben making a bad decision. I don't buy into the Ben forcing it to AB thing, I see it as Ben knowing he has to go to the guy he knows can make the play and that means Ben has to get the ball there. jmo

No money and or desire to keep Fort IMO means they are gonna be willing to trade up if they have to and maybe even overpay so to say in draft picks,to land a ILB . Colbert says it's one of his biggest mistakes not replacing Shazier sooner. They've pretty much painted themselves into a corner at the ILB position. Sorry to the anti Devin Bush guys but it's looking more more like the pick if he's available. It would take less draft capital to move up for him than trading up for White. Say goodbye to the 3rd round pick for AB....

    Glad we signed McCullers though:facepalm:

Ben is big on "trust" he uses the word quite frequently. He wasn't "forcing " the ball to AB. He was " trusting " him. For every "force" there was also a amazing play that Ben "trusted " AB with and he very rarely disappointed.

    RB depth anyone:

26 years old, has missed just 3 of his 80 games so far in 4 year career (all 3 were last yr). His last 3 seasons: 952 rush yds, 7 TD 853 rush yds, 2 TD 685 rush yds, 6 TD

The #Jets have released RB Isaiah Crowell, given the addition of some other big-time RB they signed that you may have heard of.

It sucks how all this happened cause I really feel Ben and AB had something very special going on. IMO Both will feel the affect of not having the other this year.

Yeah, I’d take a look at Crowell. The only thing I’m unsure of about him is pass protection. He can run, and is effective enough as a receiving option.

Vet RBs grow on trees. It's just stupid to pay a RB major money when committees are advantageous. I'd be happy with Crowell and a 3rd round back to go with JC and Jaylen.

So I wonder what the deal is with Tre Boston. He’s been with 3 teams in 5 seasons, and has been a top 20 or so safety for pretty much his entire career. Is he a problem personality in the locker room? I’ve never heard anything like that, but his contract opportunities don’t fit the very good player on the field.

This my 3rd offseason wanting the guy to be a a Steeler, yet there’s nary a sniff in his direction.

They won't carry 4 RBs, I would take Crowell, and release Ridley if he's still on the team.

Ridley is a free agent. So far the only team interested in him is DQ after being jilted by Bell last year.

Possible. I def think we'll draft a RB in the mid rounds. Maybe they feel good with three youngsters but I'd like a vet around to lessen the load on JC and as insurance.

I am right there with you I have liked Boston since the draft. Kind funny he has played well but yet can't stay with a team and can't find that longer bigger contract.
