How much is he likely to command and do we have the cap room?

Raiders are apparently interested which almost makes me want him more...

Given what has gone on this week who knows but at a guess 10m + If the Steelers could afford him somehow it would take a lot of pressure off in advance if the draft and the Steelers could almost adopt a ‘best player available’ approach. That’s the one gaping hole in the roster

That was an error on my part, that was a 2017 article that went unnoticed by me thats why I have since deleted it, sorry, here is an updated article in reference to zach brown, he is still a free agent my bad:

    Cut loose by Washington
    March 13, 2019
The Redskins released Brown (oblique) on Wednesday, Mike Jones of USA Today reports.

    ANALYSIS
Signed to a three-year, $21 million contract last offseason, Brown dropped off to 96 tackles (69 solo) and one sack in 2018, after averaging 138 and 3.25 over the previous two seasons. Health may have been part of the issue, with Brown revealing in late December that he played through a torn oblique for much of the year. The 29-year-old inside linebacker should be able to find another starting job, but there's no guarantee of a return to his elite IDP status from 2016-17.

I don’t want to sound overly reliant on PFF ratings, but they rated him as their #3 LB in the league last year. I will admit I didn’t really see him play last season, but prior to last year I had watched him a handful of times and thought he looked good (though I didn’t quite see a top 3 LB).

    Get him
