    Yep.

For that matter, Antonio Brown will act and enact on equally negative behavior as Randy Moss did before him when the former was in Oakland. Biggest difference should he be traded to another team?! Randy Moss is an athletic freak of nature whereas A.B. is a workout freak of nature.

One wrong injury and A.B.'s abilities will be liabilities. Shorter players usuallu begin to lose their athleticism quicker than the bigger ones. Antonio Brown will be no different.

At best, he got $2 million more guaranteed and it cost him an entire season in his prime with a better offense. He lost. Sadly, the Steelers lost, too.

Nothing against Bell from my end. Not the first to hold out & won't be the last. My opinion is that he is severely lacking common sense.

Bell's patient running style might not work everywhere, the Jets OL is nowhere near as good as the Steelers OL.

Something tells me that LeVeon will be for the J-E-T-S, the same as Duce Staley was for the Steelers.

He'll get stuffed behind that Oline and will be modeling sweats very soon on the sideline.

Players want the earth, moon, and stars. Players don't always get what they want.

Bell took a risk and was still paid a lot of money. 35 million plus dollars suggests Bell was in a no lose situation. The only way Bell would had loss is if he were injured.

He gave away a year in the prime of his career. He's not going to be the same player in 2019 that he would have been in 2018. At best, he got $2 million more guaranteed, but it is very likely that he would have finished his career making more money if he had taken the Steelers' long-term offer a year ago.

Bell was going to get paid either way. He was going to make more money than he could ever need either way. He pulled a stupid stunt and cost himself production and money. He lost.

He lost last year’s salary. If he had played he would have been payed more in the contract. He lost big time.

I get your point, but if he played last year he wouldn't have 35 million$ right now. He may have gotten it eventually, but maybe not. Bird in the hand type deal.

If he played last year he still likely would have been a free agent now. I believe he would have gotten more than the 35 he got now. That’s 24.5 plus 35 plus ? He could have had. He lost the 14.5 plus the ?

Your math makes sense. Based on that, he lost. But it might not have worked out that way (knowing his history). I'm not saying I agree with what he did, but he has the money now, whether he would have more $ if he played last year, we don't know.

Exactly. Last years 14.5 and this years salary and he’s damn near at that 30 million guaranteed.
Very dumb move on his part. He’ll never get that 14.5 back.

You’re right. If he played last year head have at least 14.5 million more. He would have gotten that Tag mine plus signed a new contract with at least 30 million guaranteed.
If he signed the reported deal with the Steelers last year he would’ve had about 33 million right now.
Dude screwed the pooch big time.

Or, he could have failed a drug test the first day of camp and been out of the league with zero$.(since we're using hypotheticals). He took the 'if' out of your equation.
Either way, I've lost interest. I'll watch the Jets play once this season. Other than that one game, I don't care.

And technically he got 25 more million gurnateed. The Steelers weren't offering all his money upfront only 10 was gurnateed in signings and the rest was rolling gurantees. It was reported he felt like the day they wouldnt gurantee him a higher number at signing that he felt like the franchise didnt really trust him.

The franchise had reason not to trust him.
