Giants are in full rebuild though. Pitt is not.

Saw where Perriman now wants out with the OBJ signing. With him and Landry, not enough catches to go around. I would trade a 5th or 6th round pick for him. Didnt he sign a 1 year, 4 million dollar deal? I think that would work.

I’ve seen a report that Zach Brown will be released by Washington. I think we should inquire and see if a deal can be done.

Yup - it's been tough. I'd love for Pittsburgh to somehow make a big splash signing for a guy as good as Earl Thomas. It's been so embarrassing.

    He
He will want 8-10m a year could the Steelers squeeze him in under the cap? That would be a very good signing

A signing like Earl Thomas would have definitely helped the sting.

Maybe next year they’ll be able to pull in what would hopefully be the final piece (god forbid it’s mot found this year) since AB’s $21 million will be gone. But, at that point it’ll be time to focus on a new contract for guys like Watt

i hate free agency. Gets my damn blood pressure up too much

The two main competitors in our division have both made big moves and got better while we've lost guys and made no moves. Excruciating to sit through.

Steelers just got rid of 2 malcontents, Earl Thomas is from the same ilk. I doubt they wanted any part of that again.

I hope Kareem hunt is out for the whole yr. If he only misses like 8 games that's all she wrote.

The Steelers will wind up finishing third in the division behind Cleveland and Baltimore IMO.

Also, don’t sleep on Nick Chubb. He showed flashes last year. And he will be even more dangerous as the passing game opens up running lanes.

Not sure how good Kareem will be in CLE. He is a great athlete, but he may have been s product of that K.C. offense, which is known for producing great runners who are fanatsy darlings - Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson, Jamaal Charles. Even Damien Williams played well for them last year when Hunt was suspended.

Anyway, I see your point. The Stains are going to be dangerous. And don’t sleep on their DEF either.

Let's not pretend we ever had a chance at Earl Thomas..... we don't have the cap space.... our only move was for a 2nd rate CB at 8m a year..... that's all the space we have (until Big Ben gets restructured). We had $16m available and we just used $8m. It's the draft or bust for us. Quit feeding into the free agency frenzy, it's never been our style.

The hype around the browns next year is gonna be nauseating.. Act like they've won the last 6 super bowls rather than the 1 playoff appearance they've accumulated in 20 years

Oh how I long for the good old days when a player was on one team his entire career. Sports is really turning me off with the way they conduct business but I do understand it's all about the dollar.

Should the Jets and Raiders play in the 2020 AFC Championship game I'll swear off sports forever.

I think we’ve agreed before the Browns are on the up, and Mayfield should do well.

I don’t understand them losing Peppers but they’ve made some firm FA moves otherwise.

However, the improvements are still on paper at the moment. A lot is going to depend on how Kitchens brings it together. Also how important was Gregg Williams? We’ll see, I guess.

I thought before Odell that they were the best team in the division. They followed the rams and eagles formula. The rams added a lot of talent but their core was drafted. They drafted Goff, Gurley, and Donald and then built around them. Same with browns. They drafted baker, miles Garrett, Denzel ward, kirksey, etc... and then added on to that. That's how you build you do a combination of both not solely one or the other.
