I assume you are referring to the creators of drama and distraction. If so, wasn't that Bell and Brown? Well they're gone now, so yeah the fire is out. But obviously, that't not all with you. Your hatred of Tomlin means he has to go and probably Ben too, he's been know as a drama queen in the past. Don't know how you feel about Colbert but he probably needs to go too right? Dude, adversity has hit the Steelers, it happens.

The are cheap. That's a general consensus around the NFL. Even people on this board acknowledge they dont spend big money on guys especially when it comes to gurantees. Problem is this generation of players dont think like the old ones. Steelers will soon realize they have to change their mindset and stop resting on their laurels.

Also if the Steelers are literally THE ONLY team in the NFL that doesnt pay high gurantees but everyone else including even NE at times does what does that tell you about them?

If he ends up injured or not preforming yes. Which happens quite frequently. Look atgurley. He got injured and even after returning healthy was outperformed by someone picked up off the waiver wire.

AB is a great wr, but he’s also 32. Guaranteeing all that money is idiotic. Some players are able to continue playing at their peak well into their 30’s. However, they are the anomaly.

An employee agrees to sign a contract and you're getting mad at the employer for not throwing even more money at him?

He already solidified being worth it after his arguably sb mvp level performance this past sb and being first team all pro this past season. That enough made him worth every penny.

Jeez .... the fire is the ownership/management! And that fire is a raging inferno right now and all indications are that it will get worse.

I can't say exactly who in the ownership/management it is and neither can anyone else but I know that Tomlin is supposed to the leader of the team and Ronney is supposed to be the leader of the franchise and both are an absolute embarrassment!

Because the salary cap money is more or less guaranteed by revenue sharing. Other money requires commitment from ownership and risk.

    Yeah it belongs to TTF.
Don’t worry though bro everything’s gonna work out just fine. The Rooney’s know what they’re doing.

I have the ultimate faith in two of the three Rooney's but they are both dead. Pride in being a homer is fine but when you ignore reality, substitute your own, and continually tell everyone who sees the reality that they are wrong you look a little ...... well ..... you know.

When you say things are going to be fine I assume you mean in another 6-8 years?

I’m not overly worried about any of it. I can’t control any of it. I’ll continue to support the Steelers. Plus I know that they’re always going to have us in contention. And a down year or two once in a while doesn’t bother me at all.
You have your opinion and I have mine. Yours just happens to be wrong, but that’s OK I won’t hold it against you.

You repeatedly gloss over the "missed opportunities" as if they don't count? And this cluster-**** is way beyond a down year or two. You couldn't be any more wrong, you just don't know it yet. But that's okay .....
