Just goes to show how F'd up things can get in the NFL. Give a bunch of youngsters a ****load of money and free pass to do whatever they want and low-and-behold, asshats emerge? Go figure!

Pretty sage observation from such an NFL standout. Must be awfully lonely up in Saskatchewan with the Rough Riders these days.

Go to the inner city. Pass out ****loads of drugs and hundreds of millions of dollars. Wait for an hour, and then sit back and see how many brilliant things you hear.

He's just pissed that he got dinged for 5 yards on that play and dropped his career total from 21 yards to 16.

Wait...you're thinking of 2nd baseman James Harrison right? ;) (almost as bad as that fellow Jarvis Landry/Landry Jones/Jarvis Jones).

He accused his former college coaches of badmouthing him prior to the draft and he claims that's why he went undrafted.

There's always been some kind of controversy that's followed Ben his entire career.

Social media provides an instant platform for the most absurd garbage, and there will always be foil-hatted people who take that garbage at face value

Yep, that's the guy. Wouldn't you love to see a split screen replay of 92's SB INT along side replays of Josh Harrison's Harry Houdini rundowns and his Flying Walenda diving OF catches. All remarkable stuff.

There are 2 RBs on the field, the fullback and Josh Harrison. Therefore if it wasn't to the fullback, then it was to Harrison. Given this, Harris' explanation sounds weird. Wouldn't he say "He called an RB Run 42, which is supposed to be my carry?" Wouldn't he say definitively "That ball WAS for me?" Instead he isn't sure who was getting the ball. He doesn't say definitively that it was him and he says the Will Johnson said it wasn't to him. I don't know what the "42" in the play call means, but could that be who the ball is supposed to go to? Could it be that Roethlisberger just got the number wrong? If so wouldn't that explain the confusion? It wasn't to Johnson (46) and by the sounds of his explanation it wasn't to Harrison either (40). Or if the number being in the play call is correct as to who gets the handoff, maybe Harrison got it wrong? He doesn't seem real sure in the video. Maybe Roethlisberger called an RB Run 46 and Johnson missed it and thought that it was RB Run 40 instead?

As far as the the TEs throwing their hands in the air.....Heath Miller never did. At least not in his video. And Im not understanding what Matt Speath throwing his hands in the air has to do with anything anyway.

Finally the $64,000 question. WHY would Ben Roethlisberger intentionally fumble the ball? What exactly would be the point in doing so? If he wanted to defy Haleys call for a kneel down, then just do something other than kneel down. What purpose does fumbling serve in that situation?

The whole thing makes zero sense and is some really just some guy who had a 16 yards rushing for his career looking for attention.

Doesn't look like it was on purpose to me, just looked like BB f'ed it up when trying to stick it in the RBs grasp. Seriously, people just trying to stir sh** up. Per Cliff Clavin - What's up with that?

Two guys that aren’t used to playing ball.... yeah, I think I’ll place blame on the RB’s. Ball was in the bread basket.... just didn’t wrap up.

In order to be on the right side of the curve we need half the people to be on the left. Based on what is posted here, shows we are well represented by that population.

Johnson didn't wrap up because the ball was supposed to go to Harris, not Johnson.
If anything I'd say Johnson came in too tight and didn't give Ben room to rotate with the ball, which hit Johnson's arm and came loose.
I was reading this article earlier, some of the comments on his twitter page are brutal.

You'd be wrong. Over at the Steelers Depot, they have video of the play from multiple angles. The lead RB was looking to block. The 2nd RB had his hands ready to receive the handoff. Ben tried handing off to the lead RB.

Now, saying it was Ben's fault is NOT the same as saying he intentionally fumbled. Much more likely that he got so worked up about the play call that he forgot what play he was supposed to be running.
