I am tired of hearing the talk of Ben not being a good leader or teammate. This issue with AB has been brewing for a while as we all know. I think the point of Ben calling out AB on his radio show was not throwing him under the bus, but just AB’s antics finally boiling over. AB has been calling out Ben at every opportunity, but we have heard nothing from Ben. My hat is off to Ben for handling it with class and not getting involved in the media drama AB craves.

I agree with you about Mr. Big Chest, it's tired & we all wanna see this clown gone & get back to Steeler football. But I'm also tired of Ben throwing game-ending interceptions in red zones. I'm always worried when this dude in shotgun near the goal line with no freaking RB in the backfield. Remember when he threw that redzone pick in Superbowl XL??

Ben ... has no scapegoats this year. Let's see if he's that guy or not. High powered offense has dwindled down to not even being a defensive coord concern, but it's still early. Let's see what transpires in free agency and draft

Oh.....I think the Steeler O is still a big concern for a DC. If Ben learned that his new found arm strength is no reason to start playing like Favre, and Ju Ju and JC play like they have the O will be one of the top in the league again.

You're right, at the present moment I'm all doom and gloom for the Steelers future, I've already crowned the Browns the new kings on the AFC North but so much can happen between now and Sept. Such a long wait until they get going again but I'll have the joy of sitting through yet another ****ty Pirate baseball season:)

I have a feeling Steelers will be drafting WR early. Wouldn't surprise me if 1st round pick is WR. Santonio Holmes was the last 1st round WR. It's due.

It a shame that we have to talk about Bell,Brown situations and also Ben throwing team mates under the bus. This all could have been avoided if they would tell and yell at Tomlin for letting this situation fester to what we have now. How can the Roony’s let this happen, one reason is that they are getting false information about how things are going in the locker room. Get it fixed or there will b a lot of people on this forum that will see what I saw back in the pre 1970’s with this team and it is not pretty.

I hope Ben doesn't tell the front office he wants a receiver. I think we need to draft for need this year at ilb or cb in the 1st. The other one in the 2nd.

Ben is a great leader at the time it matters most
on the field late in the fourth quarter
how many times have we seen it
    team is playing like crap
we get the ball and huddle up and he talks to everyone
suddenly everyone is making their blocks
    no more penalties
    guys are getting open

this is the only time I really care about him being a leader

    the radio show
    the rest of the week
    the off season
    who cares

That is not what you stated. As I said before, please be accurate in what you say.

    Plus, I still say :bscow:

Loosing one player will not drop any team 12 places on average.

    I repeat :bscow:

Also I'm not one that just looks at stats and say oh yeah that means they are that. I look at the level of talent on the roster as well.

& you severely underestimate what Rothlisberger can do for a receiver.

AB will not. But I don't think AB cares about football success anymore, business is boomin. Always thought his actions were about money since he started his charade.
You need to be honest with yourself, Ben is not the reason they had more success elsewhere. Sanders & Burress were hitting their peaks when they left.

Sanders has how many probowl seasons? How many would he have if he was Ben's teammate without AB pushing him into the 3rd receiver slot?

He was actually higher on the depth chart than AB when he left. And I think he has 3 or 2 I have to look it up. Also has a ring. And he had 3 straight 1000 yd seasons in denver.
