If Cooper can be traded for a 1st Brown definitely can .... I'm expecting nothing less.

I’ve heard it’s more of the Steelers putting a deadline out there to get things moving, than there being a deal that’s close.

All indications are that there is incredible value in the late first round and the 2nd and 3rd rounds throughout. A late first could net a solid player on def

Well, if reports are to be believed, that was their original asking price and have since come down to a first round pick. Which would fit with the Raider rumors.

Would be great if you are right, though.

If they could get a late first for AB, they could then use one of their firsts to move up a grab someone, that would be nice.

He will probably be a Patriot by Friday afternoon. Wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Yeah I don't think they want to trade with them. Nor do I think the Pats have any interest in Brown given his attitude.

Randy Moss was considered a very loose cannon when he was picked up by them. A 32nd overall pick for AB. The Steelers would probably do that despite all the lip service given against it. I wouldn't put it past them at all.

And why would the Steelers trade him to New England again?

As their very last chance to get a 1st round pick for him. Try and save face. I really don't think they care where he ends up just as long as he's out of the locker room. JMHO.

Belichick doesn't pay anyone or anything. Doesnt deal with diva's. Moss was the execption a decade a ago and he hasnt delt with it since. No chance the Steelers trade him to New England even for a 1st. If NE gives a 1st, other teams will too.

Moss was the biggest Diva of his era. Belichick welcomed him with open arms. If Bill feels that one player could help him win another Lombardi he gets on speed dial to Kraft in order to make it happen. As for the Steelers not willing to trade with them. The FO wouldn't give it a second thought if it's the last chance to get a 1st overall pick for him. I'd rather see him go to the JETS or Bills but they're not savvy enough to pull it off. NE however makes a living off these type trades.

I'm going to guess a second round and a throw in player. No one significant.

Obviously I hope I'm wrong, but it really doesn't sound like a lot of teams have real interest. If it ended up being less I wouldn't be surprised. Disappointed, but not surprised.

I’d rather their pick #27 than their pick #35 + Conley. If it’s the best deal on the table, yeah I take it, however I wouldn’t want the front office to think that they’ve solved the CB position issues by bringing Conley in. He’s been really inconsistent, and not much better than Burns overall.

The pats would take him. Tom would do whatever he could to make AB comfortable.

He was about to trade for Odell last season.... he also traded for Josh Gordon. They just believe their culture can handle those type of guys and Tom far more than Ben does makes a concerted effort to make guys feel as comfortable as possible.

AB isn't going to NE, this whole thing is about money. They won't give into AB's demands and won't want to deal with a disgruntled player.

Plus there would have to be absolutely no other offer on the table for the Steelers to ship him there. Not likely.

I think unless someone else comes forward, the deal they have is probably underwhelming to us fans. I'm going with a 2nd rounder this year + a conditional later round pick next year (based on AB's performance or disruption). If it's indeed there raiders, they've got plenty of draft picks and the steelers leaking that it's the last chance to deal.... they are trying to put pressure on OAK to up the ante to a 1st rounder, nothing more than a mental game.

I just saw a report that the Raiders are the only team willing to pay the high price of what the Steelers are asking for AB. I wonder how true this is but I can see the Raiders willing to spend big on a proven receiver.

Who the heck is spending money on this garbage! You have to be one star struck donkey to be buying these things. I haven't looked at any others who record these things, I certainly hope they are better than this.

    This is awful :lolol:
