I'm sure the CB list will grow. They'll meet with Murphy for sure, hopefully Julian Love, too.

    Julian Love.... holy cow!

A shade under 5'11 and possessing an arm length of 33 7/8 inches?! A 75 3/8 inch wingspan too?! Are you kidding me?! That is insane!

As far as my knowledge, dating back to 1982 when the first combine for the NFL began, Julian Love is in the record books for having the longest arms of any cornerback 6'1 or under; surpassing Isaiah Oliver from a season ago; 33.5 being his! Prior to Oliver, Jalen Ramsey had the longest arms, 33 3/8. Be that as it may, to stand under 6 feet and have that length and know how to use it?!

    Again......

If he times mid to low 4.4, he is definitely worth adding as a final contingency plan in Round One; Top 20 even. He can not only play, he has the athletic tools to do so! :herewego:

Are you sure you got his arm length correct? I've seen multiple sites including the official combine page list his arm length at 31-3/4".

ND is represented very well this draft. Any of these three land on the Steelers and I'd be a happy man.

    Julian Love
    Alohi Gilman
    Te'von Coney

Not interested in Boykin or Williams. Tillery yes but bigger needs for where he will be selected.

Add Greedy Williams (yes... I know), Chauncey Gardner Johnson and Byron Murphy to the list. No formal arrangement with the likes of Devin Bush Jr., Julian Love or others yet. Again, all subject to change.

    Serenity now

Late round, will make his living on special teams and come up like Fort did. He's a football player though.

    Chick/Fort ceiling.

I could actually see us double dip the corner position. One started opposite haden this year and one to replace him next year. This is a talented group.

Then we get an early wr out of this bunch and a good blocking te.

    Linebacker in free agency.

Grimble also brought back. If he didn't fumble at the goal line we would be praising him. He has made some good plays in the passing game. Had a bad blunder on one,but we used him a lot as a blocked too. He's not real expensive either.

A couple notable omissions....Bush, Noah Fant, TJ Hockenson, Germaine Pratt, Adderly, not one top DL or OL..and only one RB.

But the visit list is very slow coming out of Pittsburgh, seems like we rarely see all the names until the week before the draft for some reason. Still have pro days to visit.

Notice how most of the visits are big name WRs? Funny how those got out so quickly. That's Colbert letting everyone know he's serious about trading AB84. In case there were any doubts :lolol:

Not yet. I would assume they will bring him in for a Pre Draft Visit. His tape is great but not performing at the combine definitely does not help him in the eyes of some.

Rumor and speculation seems to be that the Harbaugh connection is causing the Steelers to be laying low for now....you never know. There's a lot of games played this time of year. :hmm:

I happen to be on board with that line of thinking. Curiously though the thought doesn't get much play around here. Maybe because of bigger needs elsewhere? Just a little surprised at the lack of discussion regarding a upgrade. I think bumping SD back down to SS and using TE as a dime piece ,with a true ball hawk at FS could have a major impact for our D. At the same time being a good safety net for our present and future CBs....We should definitely bring one in in FA and be open to the idea of drafting one.
