Burns still looks thin at 249 lbs, he ran a 4.56

Yep. I think he is a big risk especially if you are talking #20.

    4.42 at 6'6 260lbs with near 36" arms and a wingspan of almost 85".

He really is starting to look more and more like Julius Peppers. A completely physical freak.

His tape is really good too although maybe not ad athlete as you would expect given his physical numbers.

I wouldn't be surprised if he easily goes Top 10 now. DE/OLB, it doesn't matter. He will likely transcend scheme.

Barring trade value for AB, sweat probably just put himself out of our range

Which I think helps us get a CB or LB. I like that Metcalf showed freakiness too.

Yes, we should have a good pick with some of these other guys vaulting up into the Top 20.

Let's just hope 3 or so QBs go top 20 too. Colbert should be there with a big net to get our CB.

Speaking of... Jachai Polite ran 4.80+ and then pulled the plug due to a hammy.

I'm not calling Polite Jarvis Jones, but this is a red flag.

Polite looks thicker than Burns though, I'm not really interested in either of these guys at #20, I expect Dupree to still be on the roster. I don't see them using three first round picks on OLBs, bigger needs to address.

I’ll say this about Polite. I haven’t watched much film yet, but what I did watch was eerily reminiscent of Jarvis Jones. I’ve hesitated to say that up until now, but seeing what happened today makes me wonder.

Burns I have no real concerns over yet. The limited tape that I’ve seen looked good. I think he plays tough against the run, and shows functional strength beyond his skinny appearance.

Devin Bush ran a 4.44, that might make up for his lack of height
Terrill Hanks ran a 4.99 yikes
    Germain Pratt 4.58
    Devin White 4.42 wow

Could be some good options at ILB there too. Still early but either way, I think they walk away with a good pick this year.

The fact Devin White ran faster than Roquan did last year actually surprised me. I never thought White would fall to #20 but I think that low 4.4 kind of cements it. (That he wont)

I'm still hoping CB or S at #20. I haven't been able to get fully behind a LB yet at #20.

Hanks running 4.9 and then pulling out is a bad look. I tend to believe this was more injury related than some others today though. He didnt look that slow on tape.

Bush was faster than I expected. I'll have to see his agility numbers. I didn't see that speed on tape.

Pratt at 4.58 was beautiful. What I expected. He's a 1st round pick all day. I doubt I'd take him at #20 as there will be better players available. Could be a trade back option or move up in round 2 to get him. Or with a potential AB trade pick.

Don't think Lamar ran which was disappointing.

I was seeing a solid 4.55 guy at least. I like him a lot.

I understand that various scouts have various times, but these are seriously impressive none the less. Regarding him, given how Pittsburgh has drafted players in the past two seasons, Devin Bush Jr. could be on Pittsburgh's list. It would not surprise me if he were the pick at this point.

Same here. Just saw that. The timing of the hamstring issue is what bothers me far more than the 40 time.

    Something is not right here.

Leonard Floyd weighed 244lbs. at the combine. He was then selected 9th overall. Brian Burns weighs more than him and ran faster than Floyd did.

Brian Burns is a Top 10 pick in this draft. His talent alone was enough. The question was the weigh in. He cemented his draft status. Not going to happen.

Burns isn't going to be a top 10 pick , Bosa, Allen, and Sweat as edge rushers will go before Burns.

My feed is acting up again! How did Sweat perform in the agility drills?! Could someone give me a good summary?!

To each their own. Agree to disagree. If Floyd was capable of being one, no reason Burns cannot either.

Because of the 2 QBs and all the stud DL that will go in the top 10, there will probably be a few skill players also I don't see it for Burns.
