With AB almost gone should we take a look at him? could be a good safety net.

Not for $4M plus, IMO. He isn't a #1. Heyward Bey gives you what Crabtree brings for a lot less money.

Yeah gonna need to draft a WR in Round 2 or 3 at least and bring in a quality FA WR as well, one that is much better than Crabtree.

I would pass on Crabtree. His play has steadily declined over the past few seasons and he was overrated to begin with.

We have some money to spend. Golden Tate anyone?

I'm not really in love with a lot of the FA WR's this year. Tate will command too much money.
I have faith in Washington in Year 2. The guy really struggled but I think he was starting to come around late.
Bring Eli Rodgers back into the fold.

I also have faith to Colbert to draft WR's. He has knack for finding good WR's in his tenure.
Can't draft a CB to save his life, but good at getting WR's.

Crabtree takes too many plays off, no thanks. Golden Tate would be a perfect fit.

I believe the Steelers will draft a WR in the 5th round or later.

The Bengals are putting John Ross on the trading block. I would rather take a chance on him over Crabtree even though he would basically be Mike Wallace II.

I think Tate will be out of the Steelers price range.

We would just become the Bengals from a few years past.

I just saw Tate may be looking for 15-16 million a year. I don't think a 31 year old gets that. Reason I floated his name is because I thought he could be had at a reasonable price.

If he's really looking for that, then sit back and play the waiting game. His price will come down if some fool GM doesn't throw that at him.

He would be a great fit here though.

Washington will come thru with more opportunities. definitely need another weapon to flourish with them and rotate as well as depth. Tate is great but asking too much for sure. maybe smokey brown and a drafty. either way I look forward to next season with an improved D and lesser dramatic offence.

Tate will get close to that..... He is really only good wide receiver free agent and GMs love him

I don't know why some fans thought Tate would come cheap , this is his last chance at a big payday.

I never considered him for Pittsburgh, I figured he would be looking to get paid, some team like the Jets will overpay for him .
