I understand...But where we usually draft, mid to late 20's, It is more of a gamble, not as surefire...

I mean, I have seen no.1 overall picks that have been busts, but the lower you pick, the less weaknesses they have *obviously ( I stole that off Tomlin )...

I only remembered the one specific event that's been discussed on here before. That was during his playing days, Hines must have said something after that I wasn't aware of.

 

The two butted heads because Ward tried to coach up Ben on being a leader and Ben didn't like being told what to do feeling he had a handle on what he needed to do. There is a video clip I don't remember where I saw it but Ward is mic'd up for a game against the Ravens and was knocked out but you hear him tell Ben take control in the huddle and tell the guys what to do. It was the type of thing Ward did, it wasn't get in your face and scream but you could tell even then Ben didnt like guys telling him what he ought to be doing.

 

So now it’s confirmed that AB is not untradable after all?

 

You're right, I found the clip. It's a pretty innocuous comment by Hines, I assume there was more to it than this.

 

Yeah that's the game although I didn't see the moment where Ward has the cloak on and he tells Ben to take control in the huddle and get them up. But like you said and I was getting at, pretty harmless stuff but it's like your big brother telling you to do something you just get bothered by it.

 

It's very well documented that Ben feels entitled. There no denying that. There are even posters here that can attest to it personally.
