Breaking: Baltimore has agreement in principle to trade former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco to the Broncos, league sources told ESPN.

Yup. Guess Harbaugh doesn't want Jackson looking over his shoulder. I think that's going to blow up in their face in a major way.

Attention all Broncos fans. Instead of just yelling IN COM PLETE while your defense is on the field, you can now also enjoy yelling Pass IN TER FERE ENCE while Flacco and company are on offense! After all, it's the best play in his arsenal.

Will be interesting to see how many times Flacco's 98 yd lobs in the thin mile high air knock the sky cam out of orbit. It'll be like watching a Reggie Roby punt sail through the rafters at an indoor stadium.

I am just happy not to see that droopy face twice a year.

This is gonna blow up on the ravens. You saw it in the playoffs, Jackson is a one trick pony, and easy to defend that one trick. To the pit of misery! Dilly Dilly!

He's 6 - 1 as a starter. If he ever becomes accurate throwing the ball it will be difficult to defend especially if they can build an offense around him.

The year he won the Heisman he completed 58 percent of his passes (220 of 382) for 3,390 yards and 30 touchdowns with nine interceptions. He ran the ball 234 times for 1,538 yards and 21 touchdowns.

To say he's a one trick pony is inaccurate. Whether or not he can transition his game to the NFL will ultimately be the test.

They said the same things about RG3, Tim Tebow, Mike Vick, Vince Young...

As a Steeler fan, I absolutely love what the Ravens are doing! Putting all their eggs in the Jackson basket with RG III as the backup? I wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens go 8-8 next year despite that powerful defense.

Running QB's have never worked in the NFL long term, they win a game or two with their legs and lose 3 or 4 because they aren't a true QB. Not to mention Jackson's accuracy will kill him once defenses figure out how to control his running.

    Ravens > Steelers.

Baltimore's front office and coaching staff are embarrassingly better than ours.

For some reason when I look at your posts my eyes keep going to the left, I don't understand:smiley1: I can't agree that Harbaugh is better and I think their most recent moves with Jackson is like playing Russian Roulette with all six bullets loaded.

I think I read somewhere that Jackson has never thrown more than 12 passes in a game so far, and we all saw how that worked out in the play offs. They must like what they see in practice...

I also like how, a few years ago John Elway was heralded as a FO genius for his FA signings. Now he's getting ridiculed for desperately trying to sign a veteran QB and repeat what he did with Manning.

And remember the talk mid-season about whether Harbaugh would last the season? I thought that inserting Jackson for a quick shot of adrenaline was just his attempt to save his job, I guess not!

Elway is looking more and more inept. Sad, he was a great player.

Why? Because he's doing what fans on here want the Steelers to do? Sign him! Sign everybody! Didn't make the playoffs? Fire the coach!

    Too right.

Elway is reaping the results of his heavy emphasis on free agency.

No, because he keeps making knee-jerk reactions that don't seem to have a chance. The Broncos need an elite QB and a lot more, Flacco ain't it, if he has any high level play left in him it isn't much and it isn't for very long.

You mean like getting rid of your coach without having a qualified candidate in mind?

Like Peyton Manning. In the Broncos eyes, he only needs to have enough for a few years.....
