    Say goodbye to your wife.

You'll be engrossed for weeks if not months. ;)

Just watched the credits roll. Story over. Not going to spoil a damned thing.

But that last mission of the epilogue is EPIC! I can't tell you how you'll know it's coming, because I really do not want to spoil a single thing for anyone. Just do yourself a favor, and make a save after every mission in Epilogue 2. That way you're sure to have it saved just before the last mission. You'll thank me later because you WILL want to play it again. Very cinematic and quite satisfying.

I can't believe it took me almost a month to - well, not really finish. I still have things to do. But to finish the story. But I sure did stop to smell every rose. ;)

So I guess I'll be able to talk about it with you guys in a few months. :lolol:

    Have fun. Shoot straight.

So anyone else done with it yet?

    Anyone playing online for Playstation?

This old bounty hunter wouldn't mind some backup.

I'm on Xbox. I think I prefer playing Solo than Multiplayer. Not sure yet though...

I'm just about half way through, but gaining ground. I haven't tried online yet, but intend to. I don't know if you'd want me shooting behind you, though. I'm decent in game, but online I'm more like The Schofield Kid.

Well, as long as we get the enemy in an outhouse, you'll sure kill the hell outta them.

Feels like I have only a handful of missions left in Chapter 6.

    What a game.

My expectations were met and exceeded. Gotta say Ray, you and this thread put the game on the radar for me. Thank you!

Early GTA games were revolutionary, however, Rocks tar has truly outdone themselves with RDR2. My favorite gaming experience since being a kid and getting an original NES.

When Chapter 6 is over, amd the main story, you still have 2 epilogues which will take a couple hours. Epilogue 1 is, well, it's just setting certain things up. Epilogue 2 is awesome. The very last mission is amazing.

Watch the credits. To the end. ;)

I looked into picking up the original today from PlayStation store. They want $99 for a game that’s seriously outdated. Looks like I’m skipping the first one and heading straight to RDR2.

WTF? Sure there wasn't a decimal there somewhere? Or it wasn't a special edition RDR2? It wasn't that much brand new 8 years ago. You can probably find it used at Gamestop for less than $20

I’m positive there wasn’t a decimal there. It may have contained a bunch of dlc, but I didn’t dig into it after seeing the price tag. It’s just not worth it to me. Will have to check and see if it’s available from PlayStation Now for significantly less.

Playstation Now is a streaming service. You can get a week of it free. But the quality of larger games like RDR is pretty bad. Horrible, dark graphics. Choppy and laggy. Quite painful to the eyes. I don't recommend going that route.

Finished up the game. Such an incredible experience. Best game I've played in a really long time.

Well, I mean, you could. Just consider yourself warned. It's not a good representation of what that game was really like. But if all you want is the story, knock yourself out.

So Ray, I know the online is still in Beta. It's not quite what I was expecting.

Got any good insider tips on what the full online version could look like? Or when it's set to launch?

It was going to be tough to live up to the single player mode but I'm hoping to continue this experience. Any DLCs expected either?

If it's anything like GTA Online, there will be regular (and free) DLCs once online is out of beta.

I agree that the Beta is very underwhelming and bare bones. But since it's a rolling beta, I'm taking advantage of levelling up and making money. We'll be keeping everything once it goes live.

R* said they hope to have the beta end and the online to launch proper around June. In the meantime, I expect a few updates here and there slowly adding content. You know how betas go. Fix one bug, and 2 more crop up. So they're going slow.

Hey @Ray D@Ray D any thoughts or updates to RDR2 online now?

I usually don't turn on The console during the summer but as fall and winter set in I'll definitely be taking a look.

    Just wondering your thoughts.

Huge update coming some time in September. Could be this Tuesday even since R* has all the communication skills of a sloth. They'll announce it's here the day after it comes out...

This whole summer has been quiet. Nothing really you're missing. But when the new update hits, thre should be tons of reasons to come back. My hunch is that it'll be the middle of the month. I would expect some* announcement from R* in advance. But it wouldn't be the first time they were lazy.
